For the record, I’m not a fan of this. I might have to come back to mop this one up at a later time. Lol those collection cards cost quite a pretty penny…..it may involve me having to wait until December, but those prices will need to drop substantially for me to complete this one.
I got all the 97s for around 21K a piece. leaves me with ten more to go, when I get there. Could be worse.
It will get worse eventually. This was SDS saying if you want 99s in programs, you’re still going to pay for them. It’s pay 99 dressed differently

Collect 10 HR in online play.

Why get rid of Showdowns? I dislike them as much as anyone but having them add something just to subtract doesn’t help. Add the stat missions, keep showdowns, do either one or all.

Basically, only way to complete this program is to get lucky in the pack you get and pull a 99 card. If not, then pay up the stubs to buy the cards in the market or grind 20 wins in event.

I never finished that Griffey program. That mission was basically impossible without finding someone who was trying to get it done too and help each other out.

That Griffey mission was a nightmare. I think you had to use the silver or gold card, right? I lost quite a few HR to dashboarding. I also remember poor Griffey getting beaned after his 3rd HR.

Monthly awards programs in 17,18 and 19 you got the players in packs,I think 19 was the first where you could get some in the program too. 17 they were all in packs and you had to collect and missions to get the lightning.

The program was annoying. The showdown was the easiest ever. It was on rookie then the final 3 are on veteran. I ended up with the base round and did not feel like grinding anymore so just bought the cards to finish it.

Ah yes 2018 the only year so far that i've quit before the season ended, just wasn't feeling it with that version. I believe that was also the season of immortals

Yeah definitely wasn’t four HRs. You mean the mission where you got the 4 “hits” and a HR with a “95 Griffey” you had already earned from upgrading him multiple times all year from silver to gold to diamond with whatever remaining mission (flexibility) left to achieve the biggest prize for the biggest program of the year. 99 Griffey who was literally on the cover of the game...
The most popular player of his generation isn’t the same thing as a “retired number” or “Kaiju” eat up time in the middle of the year program that has 8 options with 7 being required, and none of them ever having any variance.
There is less complaints about Extreme because it has the most options of any program in years. It’s like they actually thought about it for a few minutes one day.
