Who do you think your favorite team's next Captain is?

So, If I am not mistaken, most if not all teams currently have three captains that boost players from that particular team. For the Cardinal it is
Adam Wainwright - Cardinals Team Pitcher Captain (set 1 Team Affinity)
Stan Musial - Cardinals Live Series Captain (Core Team Collection)
Mark McGwire - Cardinals Team Captain (Set 2 Team Affinity)I assume Team Affinity 3 has to at least give us a new Pitcher captain. I started wondering who it could be.
I find it hard to come up with any guess other than Bob Gibson. His set 1 boss card is about to expire. We have no other legend starting pitchers, unless they grab someone who used to play for the team. It could also be Lee Smith I guess, but they just gave Flaherty a London series card, Mikolas has an Incognito card. Montgomery has been with the team less than a year, and neither Matz or Liberatore has proven themselves.
Who else could it be but Gibson, short of introducing a new legend.
What's your guess for your team?

Jordan Montgomery or Gallegos?
Next month could be Jim Edmonds. We got him right now and he hits very nicely. Man, I loved watching that man in CF.
I think the Angels are going with Frank Tanana, Nolan Ryan, or Patrick Sandoval if it's current. I wouldn't mind a Carlos Estevez card though.

I mean both those guys are possible, although I am not sure what attributes either excels at that would give meaningful boosts to the other players.
Edmonds would be a good one for hitting but I wonder, if after having McGwire boosting power, whether they don't instead go the complete opposite with a high contact hitter with high vision, like Ozzie Smith?

I just figure that Gallegos has a game staple good card the last few years. High H9. Him Matz, Helsley, and Cabrera are probably the best choices for current RP/CP and Gallegos is due for an upgrade.
Good point and argument for Ozzie.
