Turning off cross play
-
I am not the greatest player online but I still enjoy it. I seem to lose most often to people playing on the Switch. Is the game easier on that system? If I turn off crossplay would I be farther ahead? I am on xBox series S.

Game is the easiest on Atari 2600.

The game is not easier on switch, at least according to everybody I read/listend to. Imo it is always the complete opposite.
Your conclusion could depend on many things:
- your losses are totally random and it is only subjective
- you have a bad connection (with cross-play)
- right now the game is pretty dead. The ones who play are maybe goons who try to beat the hell out of others
- pure luck

It is not necessarily "easier", unless you like the controller(s) that much better. The Switch is excellent for mobile gaming so I use it for completing programs when I am away from home. I finished the All-Star program while in the hospital last summer.
When I play DD H2H, however, I use the PS5 because my TV supports VRR/ALLM/HDR/4k at 120fps, etc. If my TV did not support those things, then I would have no problem using the Switch for H2H games also.
As far as crossplay goes, I leave it on because it allows for a bigger group of participants for game matching. I found no difference in the competition level vs those on other systems.

I have a ps5 and a Nintendo Switch, when playing with the switch I try to turn crossplay off for diamond dynasty since the graphics and lag compared to ps5 are in a different league imo.

Its just a coincidence. Unless you have like a hundred games in on each system to compare, it is all just speculation. With a controlled, balanced number of games to compare for testing you would most likely find results within margin of error of each other.
