I hope they don't make me wait forever to get a 99 Arenado. I would have accepted Bregman, I would have accepted either Pitcher of The Month but passing up Arenado for Mookie does not sit well with me. Especially since this was the second time Arenado has won POTM and been passed over.
Oh, well, there is a bright side to this for me, and that is that barring any other Cardinals being included in the program I can just skip the POTM grind this month.

If they give Arenado the Matt Carpenter treatment of last POTM program he could still be incredible. I have my doubts they will give him a card this month though. A lot of people including myself don’t really like him in this game. His swing is pretty awkward unfortunately but Mookie on the other hand is loved by almost everyone in game. I do agree hat Arenado did deserve it and I am a fan of him as a ball player.

2018 was the start of finest cards, yes. 17 had a finest program but they weren't their own card series. I just don't think we will get retro finest cards for those years because for the most part, any finest worthy season already got a finest card when that game was out. Mookie had a finest card in 18 but his awards card from last year based on the same season was better anyhow

Bregman wouldnt-too many astros MAs, and Gallen....not many would be exited by that.I get that but I guess that I am kind of funny in thinking that the Lightning Cards should be the best players that month without the caveats of what position they play, what team they play for, how big their market is?
I have no doubt we will see 99 Arenado and Goldy. I was just hoping for some sooner rather than later. I am one of those guys who fades out near the end of the season so there is a good chance I will get little to no play time with those cards now.

I usually use Centerfielders in right if I’m not using Soto,Ruth,Clemente,or Griffey Sr. Tbh right now I have Corbin Carroll in right and he’s been insane for me. Batting almost .500 with 29 home runs.

Cardinals bats we’re on fire in August. I’m sure there is at least 1 in the program.
