Carlos Martinez just suspended 85 games. Expect him to get the Bauer/Tatis treatment so if you haven’t gotten his card yet (and why wouldn’t you: he’s a common free agent!), go ahead and do so before he’s removed from packs.

For this reason I'm glad I just stick to legends and flashbacks. These Free agents and equipment etc are too much of a hassle for me

Agreed, last year I got all cards, inventory, jerseys, etc. At that point it was literally just burning extra stubs because I was (like many) well over 5mm available.
This year, just focused on player cards, I’ll complete the jersey/equipment collections as they are earned through packs, but won’t chase purchase of all items again.

Back when I was spending massive amounts of money on the game... $100/week give or take on average to do pack openings for what I thought was about to be a lucrative YouTube career I felt obligated to get every card which between selling duplicates and completing sets I was able to do on most occasions but it was still heavily dependent on me pulling Trout and the other high end diamonds... I think the only cards I never collected where probably BR Flawless and RS World Series rewards and some of the Event guys unless I flipped enough stubs to get them... I don't think I was able to get all the Immortals either... but once I locked in a collection for Live Series I typically never worried about doubling back to make sure I still had the full collection.
Carlos Martinez's case sounds serious so the last thing on my mind was trying to collect him... for his sake it better not be true and he better pray he can prove his innocence but when a story like this breaks its hard to think of it being false.

Yikes!!!!! I just saw that he violated the policy which kinda waters it down. Haven't seen a story of what he's accused of. Regardless of his guilt or innocence, I've never really liked him on the Cards.
