What if the Griffey Program is the Extreme Program? The true 99 Griffey seems like a reward for Extreme. It's possible that this 99 is just SDS throwing a bone to those of us who are not good enough to complete the Extreme Program.

My point was that if there was a Griffey reward associated with Extreme then it would be odd that the other Griffey 99 would not be tied to it. It also depends if we get an Extreme Conquest, Extreme Mini Seasons or Extreme Moments. I wouldn't rule anything out. They have options.

My point was that if there was a Griffey reward associated with Extreme then it would be odd that the other Griffey 99 would not be tied to it. It also depends if we get an Extreme Conquest, Extreme Mini Seasons or Extreme Moments. I wouldn't rule anything out. They have options.
It would be more odd to give us some garbage 99 Griffey only to drop a better one the next week.
I'd bet that there will be a Takashi Griffey later as a WS or BR reward as the Seattle representative. Similar to how we got 96 Sig Mussina as ALE collection and they dropped a much better version now.
My guess for extreme bosses would be like a 99 Mays or Mantle since we only have a 94 Mays I think and the Takashi 88 Mantle so far. Not sure who else would be involved.
