I like him. But then, I didn't really spend that much. I got pretty lucky with the Takashi cards - picked out Mickey as my pre-order bonus, bought Randy Johnson like day one, got Ozzie Smith as soon as I possibly could, there was a program, and then, before I knew it, I only needed one more for the prize. I've hit a few home runs with him so far, and though I very much STINK at the plate, he usually does good things for me.

I sent you a PM. Sorry, I didn't see yours until now. Purely as a hitter I like his HRD more. 120 power against LH and RH with solid contact is pretty fun. The award card has better versatility as he can play LF and 3rd along with 1B and he's better defensively. If you're playing online I'd go with his award card but just barely. If it's for Offline, either is great but put his HRD card in and watch em fly.

The speed on the HRD is a little rough when it is not a HR. I don’t know why they gave him 0 speed; to me, 0 speed means you cannot move at all.

Wasn’t a huge fan of Babe last year and he is my favorite hitter this year. I have pretty much all of them, but Babe will be sticking around.

I would use the awards, but using the HRD for the AS program mission and the week 3 mission the HRD is 8 for 9 with a double and 4 homers, still would use the AW , but the HRD has made a case for pinch hitting -

Babe is awesome. I actually prefer him over Frank Thomas. He might be the best first baseman in the game imo. David Ortiz is pretty great too and he’s free.
