people with babe, is he worth to you what you spent?

I love Ortiz, but I’ve been using that Pujols ROY at first majority of the time.
Babe has been good to me, I was paying attention to prices for those art cards and was able to secure enough for babe when they were pretty low. He’s not starting for me, but I’m the times I’ve used him, I liked it and felt he was worth it.

He has a great swing. Totally worth testing out due to the low price of the takashi needed to collect him.

I didn't hit well w/him in the past, but his 82 Gold this year and this Takashi one is nice.
Problem is there are too many 1B men rn, plus my CAP plays it so no one has the position on lock for me. -

It also depends if you are collecting. Yes he's great at 1B gets a lot of xbhs but there are plenty of 1B you can use for that.

I didn’t spend anything on him. He’s my bench because I have Milestone Mullins in LF, M Cut hen in CF and HRD Soto in RF. He’s an elite bench bat and gives you flexibility in the OF and 1B.

I don’t have him but he’s made perennial gold glove caliber plays regularly against me.

I like him. But then, I didn't really spend that much. I got pretty lucky with the Takashi cards - picked out Mickey as my pre-order bonus, bought Randy Johnson like day one, got Ozzie Smith as soon as I possibly could, there was a program, and then, before I knew it, I only needed one more for the prize. I've hit a few home runs with him so far, and though I very much STINK at the plate, he usually does good things for me.

I sent you a PM. Sorry, I didn't see yours until now. Purely as a hitter I like his HRD more. 120 power against LH and RH with solid contact is pretty fun. The award card has better versatility as he can play LF and 3rd along with 1B and he's better defensively. If you're playing online I'd go with his award card but just barely. If it's for Offline, either is great but put his HRD card in and watch em fly.

The speed on the HRD is a little rough when it is not a HR. I don’t know why they gave him 0 speed; to me, 0 speed means you cannot move at all.

Wasn’t a huge fan of Babe last year and he is my favorite hitter this year. I have pretty much all of them, but Babe will be sticking around.

I would use the awards, but using the HRD for the AS program mission and the week 3 mission the HRD is 8 for 9 with a double and 4 homers, still would use the AW , but the HRD has made a case for pinch hitting -

Babe is awesome. I actually prefer him over Frank Thomas. He might be the best first baseman in the game imo. David Ortiz is pretty great too and he’s free.
