Funny since Schwarber was legit named player of the month yet they give the in game honor to another player sounds about right. Can't see me diving in for just another outfielder since it's already a crowded position as is.
For the NL... Yordan was the AL player of the month so they are both deserving. There is no MLB player of the month.

Figured that would be the selection and not mad about it at all.
Yeah he’s slow, but I bet they give him gold defense, or you can reach gold defense with a parallel or two
He’s gonna mash and I plan on replacing Delgado in LF with Yordan. If you’re worried about range, play at fields with smaller gaps
Looking forward to using this card. What say you?
His hitting attributes have to be out of this world for me to dedicate the time to get him
There’s just so many outfielders with very good hitting stats already that he would [censored] near have to be maxed out hitting wise for me to spend the time. I already have a kinda slow team as is I don’t need another slow outfielder- again of course unless his hitting attributes are 110+ across contact and power

Yordon was also named player of the month for the AL

Also your argument if Schwarber was the lightning card would you have grinded for it cause if so your argument about Alverz is flawed cause Schwarber would be just another outfielder as well

Schwarber also got a lightning card last year, there was no way they were going to give him another one this year. Either way, Yordan was better in June to begin with.

People wanting to grind for Schwarber but not Alvarez makes no sense (or vice versa) as they are basically the same exact card.... Both LFs. Both Slow (schwarb daddy probably a bit slower) and Alvarez would probably have a stronger arm. Neither are going to be great corner OFs but will mash. Both are at best PHs.
Anyone thinking they were going to give a Schwarber Lightning card a secondary C position probably would be disappointed since he had C last year on his LS but not this year.
EDIT: Apparently Schwarber LS is actually a bit faster (47 vs 38 lol) also Schwarber has a blocking stat despite not having a C secondary.
-
[censored], really wanted Schwarber. Better swing, better secondary positions, and his LS is a silver where Yordan already has a diamond.

Schwaber wouldn't have C as a secondary this year if he was the lightning card. His LS card this year doesn't have C as a secondary so his lighting card wouldn't either.
This is the best outcome as Schwarbers lightning card from last year could return as a classics card later in the year with C as a secondary

Can't wait to see what his speed may be. Which will be the only downer this card has. He will be replacing P5 Edmonds in LF who I will be sad to see go.

Facts.

love yordans swing, but like some say tough to play him over clemente springer/trout and albert. but he certainly will be fun to have and maybe it might be time for frank to ride off into the sunset and moving some lineups around for yordan to have a chance. his 88 TA last year was one of my best players

You must have missed where Arenado and Goldschmidt both won POTM this season and neither received the POTM card in this game.

Schwabs is getting a card in this program. Also Bryan Reynolds is getting one

But Edwin Diaz should have over Walker's SP card.
-
I’m hoping for a Jon Gray mid tier POTM and a Topps Now Chad Kuhl.

That’s true. Diaz is a beast.
-
Alvarez will replace Ruth in my outfield. Haven't played well with him anyway. I'll move Springer to RF and have Alvarez in LF. His arm should be great especially after the throw he made last night.

Jon Gray gets a 95 (the higher tier) for June.
The Topps now for this week already announced. Its Aaron Hicks, Cristian Javier, Isaac Paredes and Michael Chavis (unless you are expecting Kuhl in a future topps now release)

Clase please

Umm, so was Yordan, and he crushed Schwarber. There is no MLB player of the Month, only NL and AL. But if there was an MLB it would be Yordan not Schwarber.
