Anyone else struggling with him? Better question….did anyone struggle to start, but then turned it around with him and what did you do different?

I usually struggle with him every year. Actually hitting around 350 with him this year and been pretty consistent with it.

I’ll be darn. Opposite for me. Killed the ball with him last year. Can’t hit squat this year.

I raked from the beginning this year, but in prior years i struggled to start then turned it around. How i did that was i stopped pressing, swinging early or often and i didnt become a take machine but rather laid off those that i wasnt hitting good and waited for one i could do damage with,started getting better swings and results after that.

played 125 RS games with him and am batting .395 with 60 bombs. Still the best player in the game imo as his perks seem to give him exit velo boost in just about any situation

Turn on sinkers/ FB's in. Ppl pound him with heaters inside. Then they will float sliders away which are easier to hit.

Do we think Trout goes back to a 95 with the roster update tomorrow?
He’s sitting at 430k, will that increase or decrease based on the attribute change?

Unless he drops below 90, his rating is semi-irrelevant. Only thing that will affect his price at this point:
- stub sales
-flash sales
-90+ choice packs in reward paths
- stub sales

His price went up slightly after he got downgraded. I'd expect his price to remain as is or continue to climb a bit since hes going back to the 94+ tier.
He may go back to a 95, his vs righty numbers are nuts over the last 2 weeks.
As noted, 90+ LS pack and flash sales will only drop his price. Stub sales will inflate it further.

ive dominated with him, close to batting 430 and was my leadoff hitter. ive since switched to springer and really almost the same production. that 83 contact on HOF is tough with trout

A 400K card that I could never hit with. Good thing I pulled his card the past 2 years. I tried to use him but there's just SO many OF with better swings. Forgetting all the legends, flashbacks, etc, LS Acuna blows Trout's card away. I'd rather use that Ketel, or Springer. Pierre and especially Lofton for leadoff purposes are definitely worth it to start over him....I mean., even cards with secondary CF I like better - Celemente, Mookie, Hawk, Gibson,...there's a LOT of other cards I'd rather hit with but you sacrifice too much speed/defense in CF....but yeah, can't hit with him for beans. Lot's of pop-ups.

Had to update this. Card really is the best in the game IMO. Just belted another two HR with him in RS.
Really happy I am able to hit with him this year. It truly sucks having to bench a 400K card because you can't hit a beach ball with it lol
Hopefully you can turn it around with him. I truly think his quirks make the difference separating it from other cards.

I have Brett and used a lot of other cards, I still think Trout is the best card in the game if you don’t have Brett
Just played my World Series ranked game and lucky me, it was on legend difficulty. Struck out double digit times before P5 Trout smacked a solo shot off Loup in the top of the 8th on a cutter that I barely grazed the PCI with…he’s just insane with his active quirks
He’s a must have every year. Looking forward to him getting what should be a boost back to 95 but he’s still a monster as is now. Have 21k PXP with him at this point lol

Every year by the time I get LS Trout, there have been all so many better options to use from Content released that it I never even considered to use LS Trout in my DD line up. I get him every year late because he is always tne highest priced LS card & I get all others LS cards out of the way 1st. I was never lucky to pull LS Trout from a pack. Only Last year I got him for free when the Program offered LS Diamond Choice which I hope will be in the next Featured Program. LS Trout for me is just a collection need to finish LS Collection to get the rewards cards from the AL West, AL & MLB which are strong cards to have & use & as well needed towards other collections.
