RS is the best it's ever been!

Overall I prefer the wins system. This is really the first time I was giving innings a try, but I think more than anything 300 innings is just too much ranked for me. I have played about 20 games so far and I am at 107 innings. Once I got close to 700, the games are actually going the distance, but the weird gameplay just gets so magnified. I really wanted to see how high I could take my ranking this round while getting 300, but I just think I enjoy BR and Events so much more.
I mean 300 innings is 34 games, when it was 40 wins you would have to play more. Sure you would gets some wins from quits but the point Is for RS to be played a full 9 innings.
The switch to innings has removed some of the toxic play people would do to trigger quits. Now you have more people chasing innings so they hang in resulting in games being played more naturally.
The change was made to have games played to their fullest which I think has been achieved so I do not foreseeing it change back anytime soon
-
I only win like 40% of my games being a 1st year player so I like the innings system.

Lol so before the people that go 16-5 and still aren’t in WS?

Are you quitting out? I haven’t played twenty games and am over 160 innings

I haven’t quit a single game….almost every game the opponent quit out until I was at about 696.
-
I’m in 500s and I don’t get people quitting out
-
I wish that wins counted for something still. Like a win equals x amount of innings. That way you don’t have to actually play 33+ 9 inning games in the season.
-
It’s been ok. My record is 50-25 this year but I’ve only played like 3 games on HOF.
-
I’ve had to turn crossplay off because it seemed every Xbox player I would face would quit I’m the middle of the game or dashboard? Sticking to PlayStation players
-
I just don't want to play on legend. HOF is fun but once I get close to WS my desire to play just vanishes.

I agree with changing it to 200 innings. Not because of rage quits but simply because to hit 300 you have to basically play nothing but RS. And I like to grind new programs when they drop, I don’t like having to miss all other things because I need to get 300 innings in.

In my run in RS I have pretty much complete the programs at the same time. I don't care about wins in loses so I eject players in to line up to grind pxp.

If they get to 200 innings at 16-5 then more power to them, I’d assume they haven’t played more than 100 due to rage quits

It’s never going to be 200 innings so it doesn’t matter, it’s just simple math. Getting a current WS reward before people legitimately playing into WS is just funny to say out loud. And you don’t “lose innings” to rage quits you just get wins faster. You didn’t play the last 4 innings, you can go play 4 more in the same amount of time.
All you have to do is find a new game like people who actually like to play online had to do all year last year. You know, when people took three at bats in an event and quit for some PXP on a card they didn’t use again for 9 months. The people complaining are the people who forced SDS to change content and how they count inning accumulation lol.

I think you are wrong....I haven't played more than a 5 inning game in most games...and if if you get more wins that way, then it gets you to the WS pack well before 200 innings. id say I go 9 innings about 25 percent of games, if they made it where you got a win and 9 full innings if opponent rage quit it would be fine at 300

This has been my experience. I am 26-10 and have played 186 innings. That is an average of 5.15 per game. I am at 766 so my games recently have been at HOF and I am seeing about the same number not go the distance as I was at AS. Ranked just feels so broken to me. I mean we have the premiere mode where the rewards are not that great and a lot of people are talking about not caring if they win or lose because innings are all that matters.
I will also add that it is not just easy enough to start a new game after a quit. I often have time for one RS game. That means I have time for a nine inning game and an inning or two of extras if absolutely necessary. That doesn’t mean I have time for four innings, then two innings and then a full nine when you add In loading times and such.

Have a ton of fun this season, every single oppent I have played has played the right way and there are no silly antics.
I think yhe changes SDS has made to have I innings as the gate rewards and changing the R2 situation has really helped.
Even hitting has been good, still alot of fouls for sure but it's not horrible really.
If the season remain at 300 innings I'll play alot more cause it's been fun
I agree RS is great ..........

I was able to do the 300 innings after I finished the last Battle Royale. I hardly go into Events anymore, no time. I'd rather do a Mini Season. Having it as innings keeps me playing a game. So you really good guys can keep bashing away at me. If the game really gets out of hand I will quit though.
If Ranked was still wins I simply wouldn't play it much. For you good players, I'd be happy to see you get a bonus for a win. Maybe an extra 2 innings?
I just finished 300 in Ranked last night in time to do the Battle Royale that comes out today. It will take me a while to grind that out but I enjoy it.

how many games did it take you to get to 300 innings? I haven't been able to play much the past few weeks due to surgery, but I know the first season I played 40 games and barely got to 215 innings.

Yeah I think a win should Tigger some extra innings like 5 to 10 innings added to your count or a win give you a inning multiplier so even if someone quits out you get innings
