This isn’t right

You can dive all over the field. You can slide all over the base paths. You can crash into the outfield wall at a dead sprint. You can take a 102 mph fastball to the head. You can do all that and never be injured.
The only player that can be injured is the starting pitcher when a ball is hit to him. I would say when a line drive is hit to him, but my pitcher just got injured on a weak hit.
Obviously, when your SP goes down injured early in the game, it has huge ramifications for your next several games. That’s not cool.
I am not advocating fielders or hitters get injured. I’m saying take injuries of pitchers out. Can’t really use the “real life” argument about taking a line drive off the face when there’s is literally no other way to get injured in this game. That isn’t real life either.

I miss injuries tbh (and yes I'm sure I'm one of the very few that do).
Yeah it sucked losing a key player but it also put emphasis on building a bench to cover positions accordingly. Made that AS Zobrist card a beast. I also really enjoyed it when idiots would randomly dive/jump on high fly balls because they wanted to troll and then got messages their CAP got injured.

I completely agree. I have never understood this component. Some of the weird stuff in the game I can understand from a business standpoint, but this is one I just can't justify in anyway. I remember last year I was in a RS game with AS Degrom versus AS Degrom. It was the 10th inning and either 0-0 or 1-1 and both of our Degrom's still had plenty of stamina to go. Then I hit a liner off his Degrom and he had to remove him. I remember thinking, "I guess I have found the only way for AS Degrom to not make it through a game." Same thing happened to me about a week later.

Let's not forget.... People taking those extra steps every single time when leading off. After 3 minutes, either the pitcher or runner would get hurt. Was a welcome deterrent.
