So, I’m noticing that my inputs are lagging. I’m noticing it with my pci, with pinpoint (which makes for some odd color combinations) and even with the throw meter. Is anybody else noticing this? I’m getting the lag with both of my ps5 controllers. I tried some other games but didn’t notice. I will say that I tried the show 21 and it lagged the same way. Maybe the other games don’t require as much precision and the lagging isn’t as obvious. I guess both of my controllers could be malfunctioning at the same time, but it seems unlikely. Im even noticing in modes like conquest. I just really hate the thought of shipping away my controllers to get them repaired. Again. Thoughts? Is it the game or my controllers?

Yes, a few hanging pitches were crushed by my opponent because of this.

My guess its because you're playing on a TV instead of a monitor. I've tried playing The Show on several decent TVs with game mode on and they are hot garbage when it comes to input lag, there is no way I could play on Legend with max pitch speeds. Maybe I can get by with nooby casual All-Star with Default pitch speeds on a TV.

I use a wired connection for my PS5.

I have a good amount of Bluetooth traffic in my living room. Phones, watches, insulin pump, glucose monitoring transmitter etc.

Regardless of monitor or TV, my input lag disappears when I'm plugged in.

It’s funny you mention that. I’ve always used Bluetooth because I read somewhere that the input lag is better through Bluetooth, but last night I connected using usb and the lag went away. I think my soundbar and wireless router have started causing more Bluetooth interference than normal.

The input lag is indeed better with Bluetooth but check the back of your pa5 controllers. Does the model or sn end with a letter or number?

I have one that ends in a number and one that ends in an A, which, I believe, is a newer iteration of the controller. They are both lagging via Bluetooth. What makes this strange is that I’ve had the same setup for years and this is the only time I’ve had this issue.

If really think about how many devices are sending a 30 foot BT signal, you can see how sometimes it would cause a communication issue, and thus lag a bit.

Another interesting one is your standard microwave. When my wife has to pair her pump with the transmitter, she can't be in the kitchen. It doesn't sync.

First time I experienced BT lag was when I ran a 20 foot HDMI cable from my PS4 to my desk for a monitor, and used BT headphones. When somebody would turn on the microwave 25 feet away, sound would cut in an out.
