Favorite non sim baseball game

Arcade or kid-friendly. I would have to say the bigs (1 and 2) is my favorite. It was crazy, everyone was on steroids, breaking parts of the ballpark, making insane plays. My favorite game mode was pinball homerun derby.

1987 NES RBI Baseball... Mostly used the Mets and enjoyed making my friend whiff on Ojeda/Orosco/Darling/Gooden's gravity defying pitches. You could actually influence the pitch after releasing it: Spit - Move your Pitcher to the end of rubber - Throw a breaking ball - Spike it in the dirt - 'swing and miss'... Good times!

Does backyard baseball count? I loved that game, Pablo was goat.

Sports Talk baseball was first and until recently the only game I had played a full season without siming, because you couldn't sim. But it did send you to the playoffs once you clinched a d had 10 run rule.
I loved MLB on NES, didn't have names, and was probably the worst representation of baseball on the platform, but was my first game.
Bases loaded was also a lot of fun, but hitting from pitcher view was not easy.

I'm very much older than most in here & that will make me very Old School & it was within my teen years when consoles began coming out & I had gotten all of them thru the years. Atari 2600, 5200 & 7800, Coleco Vision, Sega Master System, Sega Genesis & Sega Dreamcast. Nintendo NES, SNES, N64, GameCube, etc, etc. However a Baseball Video game that was not sim because Sim style games was not even made yet for consoles. I have to say it was "Temco All-Star Baseball" All the teams & players were ficticious. However you were able to edit thier names. There was no profanity guard made yet in games. So me being a typical teen male, I named each player after a cuss word. It made it funny. The game play & graphics was the best ever seen for any console video game made so far & stayed the best until EA began doing MVP Baseball.
