I think 96 Mauer will be an option instead of a voucher for the first collection. So if you have him, great but you can still collect other types instead.
FOTF doesn't seem to have a collection yet but they can always add it. I think a Takashi voucher or a Takashi art collection card will be added and more likely since it already has a collection category in-game.
I'll definitely grind BR for that Morgan card. I still need to finish the LS collections first so that will be my main focus but I want to get all the Takashi cards because they're just really nice to look at.

FOTF yes 100% they have always had them on the collections. The Takashi I would say yes now that more are released. Cover Athletes maybe. Usually you need a certain amount of a certain collection and you need like 8 or 9 out of 10 for the reward. I have kept all my cards I have picked up minus the Live series duplicates. So when the collection drops I can sell all my duplicates or cards I don't need cause I have that collection done.

If you do the USA map and all the conquests from the first program you can easily get Adley for free. That is what I did and he is actually a really good card. Strong arm, switch hitter with decent power and contact from both sides.

I sold Ketel at 80K yesterday -- bought him at 50ish days back -- to complete the cover athletes and get 96 Mauer just for this. I have enough 2nd Half guys at this point and I'll buy him back later. I only have 1 Takashi, so that's the next move. I have Randy and am sitting pretty in all other categories.
We'll see, I guess...

I could have been done with the LS collection a while ago but I decided to buy the anime and FOTF cards when they were near QS value. Cover athlete collection maxes out with a catcher I won’t be needing so I am punting on that one (which is unnecessarily expensive).
At this point I am just accumulating my boss and big dog packs so I can make good choices to fill holes I need when the collections are unveiled.
Same here. I am slowly building up all of the collections other than the cover athletes which are absurd. I have Gary Carter so I'm not willing to spend hundreds of thousands to get Mauer.
I am a Mets fan and Kid (Carter) is my favorite player of all time but let me tell you, that Mauer card mashes
