Your fault for buying them. As long as there are suckers like you, companies like EA and SDS will continue to push these microtransactions.
Also pack odds are per pack, so 1 outta 50 per pack. Those odds reset each time ya open a pack. 1 outta 50, or whatever they claim the odds to be.

I love all of you high school drop-outs that think that I don’t know anything about odds because of all the dumb reasons y’all have listed, that literally half of make no sense whatsoever. But anyways I guess I’ll go on to assert that the probability of me not pulling a diamond/top tier out of 5 set packs, 7 “big dog” packs, and 4 set choice packs is right at 2%. But this isn’t my first cold streak either... these 2% runs seem to happen quite frequently. So either A) Ive just experienced an INCREDIBLY unlucky streak or B) the odds listed on their packs are nowhere near accurate.
The answer is A. I'm that other guy who's pulled Trout out of a regular pack, Tatis twice, Acuna three times, Vlad twice, etc., etc. There are people like you and me all over this game, and many more somewhere in the middle.
In terms of perception, though, people with luck like mine don't come on here and rant about how the odds are [censored] because we're pulling monsters at an unsustainable rate that defies the odds. Think about that.

Yeah man it’s just a wisdom thing. Been playing these kinds of game modes too long and I do not ever buy packs and also do not even have the urge to whatsoever. Been down your road too many times before.

I agree with you. The pack odds are a lie!!! I have bought 3 of the 25k headliner packs this year and pulled the Headliner 3/3. Get gud at opening packs brah.

Bro, why didn't you just buy Marte? He's 49K on the market. I can guarantee you the odds are 100% that you'd have Marte and an extra 20k stubs saved. Don't buy packs. Just buy the cards you want.

You do know whether you open 1 or 1,000, the odds per pack are the same. For instance, standard packs are 1:50 for a diamond. That doesn't mean you automatically get a diamond if you open 50.

It doesn't matter how many packs you open, because the stated pack odds are applied to every pack opened by anyone. You can do all the statistical calculations you want but the probably of you not getting a diamond in 2000 packs is irrelevant because for every 2000 you open, there are millions more opened by other players
this is right, the packs opened are aggregated among all players, so this guy hit his 20 percent chance of not getting anything out the 7 headliner packs.....meanwhile someone else may of pulled two or possibly three......the odds are not on individual basis, they are an aggregate of all packs opened.
to OP, Go buy a hobby box of Topps and then complain you didn't get an insert that is 1/24 pack odds.......you didn't for the same reason you didn't here

I would also think you have to figure in all the bronzes,silvers and golds that are available as well that could land in that last slot.
I don't worry about it my thought is if I pull one fine if I don't fine.

Lol don’t matter how many packs you buy. If the odds are 1 out of 10 Packs get a 85+ that does not mean I buy 10 packs I am guaranteed a diamond. EVERY PACK has a 1 out of 10 chance or 10% chance of having the diamond in that particular pack.

the probability is actually 37, but this doesn't take in to fact the other hundreds of packs being opened...the other guy opening 4 packs could have gotten "his" hit which would make his probability go up to a higher chance of not getting a hit. This dude is focusing on only his 4 packs, when in reality there are hundreds of others being opened as well.
Dude would probably stay in a poker hand with pocket Aces when the flop has 2 10s and a J suited.......then the turn is a Q suited...then the River is an A..... :I got a a full house! other dude has a straight flush and you are done because you only focused on your hand and not the other guy and the cards on the table......what did Kenny Rogers say? "know when to hold em, know when to fold em."
