To be fair, he's overrated as a fielder, IRL and in the game.

I know I will get blown up for this comment.... but I don't see why he would be a 99. IMO... he's not even the best player on his team. He doesn't have the best hitting numbers and he's not the best defensive OF either.... why would he get the only LS 99????

He is the best player on his team
He has the best hitting numbers in the MLBHes currently the best player in baseball, like he was every year 2012 - 2019.

He has the best hitting numbers in the MLBHes currently the best player in baseball, like he was every year 2012 - 2019.
No... he definitely doesn't have the best hitting numbers in MLB this year. Go look at the stats. Othani is better... he hit 35 HR and pitched every 5 days. Nobody can top that in baseball imo

He has the best OPS in baseball (and by a big margin), he's a far better hitter than Ohtani.
Ohtani is neither the MLB's best pitcher nor hitter. He simply excels at both simultaneously, which is incredible.
However right now I don't think I take Ohtani over Trout.
