No... he definitely doesn't have the best hitting numbers in MLB this year. Go look at the stats. Othani is better... he hit 35 HR and pitched every 5 days. Nobody can top that in baseball imo

He has the best OPS in baseball (and by a big margin), he's a far better hitter than Ohtani.
Ohtani is neither the MLB's best pitcher nor hitter. He simply excels at both simultaneously, which is incredible.
However right now I don't think I take Ohtani over Trout.

This notion of leaving no room for high diamond cards later in the year is bs. It’s his live series card which will fluctuate throughout the year. Him being a 99 for a couple weeks won’t stop them from releasing his trumped up flashback card at all. So stop pedaling that nonsense

I feel like this is the first year he's actually received an upgrade mid season. I was beginning to think they just auto capped live cards at 95. That being said, there's not reason his inside edge shouldn't almost always have him at 99 right now...

Not saying Ohtani is the better hitter, but I think Ohtani is the best player in baseball right now. Trout hasn't played enough to be considered the best player either... let's see if he can play a full season. If you don't stay on the field.... you can't be called the best. That's like saying Bo Jackson is the best football player ever.
