Stupid Question

When changing your team bat skins, a message comes up saying it does not actually alter the stats of your team.
However, when you change the socks, the aforementioned message does not appear.
Do you get the attribute boosts when socks are applied?

.I’m optimistic on the individual level. Less so with society.
