Sounds like Royce Lewis would have a card like… Trevor Story?
Pretty close, but more power (think Aaron Judge), less speed, and given that Story is now a Mendoza hitter, I'd hope better contact. Also, Story's card wouldn't be a prospect or future stars, it would be the "Albert Pujols" card type that are soon-to-come.
The "Albert Pujols" series of cards is for players that seem really good for a long time but then they sign for big money as a FA elsewhere, and immediately become a sub-replacement level player that the fanbase hates.
Judge-like Power? Do you even follow baseball. Lewis has been in the hyped and in the pipeline for a number of years and hasn’t broken through. I wish the guy all the best but don’t get ahead of yourself
It's not me, it's fangraphs. I do think they follow baseball, and they have his future power graded at 70.
Also wasn't Judge a much older rookie? If the kid's got real raw power, maybe it takes him a few years, just like it took Judge...?

Little known fact, Royce was born the same year as Derek Jeter.

He is a shortstop/athlete that is projected to have 20 HR type of power.

He is coming off of a two year injury. He is only 22 I believe.

Right? Judge was just a rookie 4 or 5 years ago and is already 30 years old.

Royce Lewis is a poorman Andrelton Simmons with the prospect hype of a Shawon Dunston. I need to see more contact. He’ll get a Diamond card though, you’re friend is right.
