Optional: Collect all April Monthly Awards
-
Simple solution SDS stop making non sellable choice packs for cards on the market!! The first program non-sellable was so stupid.
-
Everyone saying its stupid and im over here looking at it as their way of giving people a reason to actually play the game and not break out the credit card to get rewards faster.
-
I'm confused. The 4 non sellable packs are just the rest of the Monthly diamond cards. If you play the whole program up to that point you get 3/6 88s and 2/3 90s. The last 4 are the ones you're missing. It's a chance to get every card without buying any of them..for those of you buying the cards to complete the program in 2 days, why??? You say there's not enough content, yet you race through the content you have. I was stoked when I saw how many points this reward path has. Take your time, play the game. Enjoy. Those of us who miss TA, the Spring Cleanup and April POTM are solid programs with similar features and loaded with rewards.
-
If you're a dipshit like me, though, you bought the cards before realizing the others were no sell.
Doh.
Well, they'll make good exchange material in some other program.

"This optional collection can be completed to accelerate progress towards Lightning Anthony Rizzo, but it is not required."
Pretty dumb that they offer a "collect all" to get you to Rizzo faster but then make the remaining packs no sell so you are forced to have 4 dupes if you do it. Unreal.
I agree it is confusing it took me a few minutes to figure it out but I think I know why. You almost need instructions on how to figure out this monthly program structure. You also don't accumulate stats from stage one or stage 2 once you move on to the next stage. If that's the case they should just show the previous stage completely crossed off or locked. The way it is now it appears that it is still open so if you were to go past stage 1 and then want to do the collections for an extra 10 or 15 points you would not be able to do that once you are on stage 2 but it will still allow you to lock those cards in on stage one. Very conniving an SDS part I believe
I did this very thing and now I can’t progress to stage 3 unless I buy the 4 remaining cards on the market. I’ve done all the stage 2 moments but progressed to S2 before I did all the S1 moments. So now I’m stuck on 166

You can still QS them.

I don't think you can QS them. Yes, it gives you the option; but I don't think it gives you the stubs.
-
It 100% does, unless it's a ps5 glitch

They know some people will spend to get a free card sooner. Paying 25k for each of those cards to recoup 5k for each card makes no sense. Some things in the game should be grind only IMO. Cards are not holding value this year, even WS and RS cards. Losing 20k a card to earn a non-sellable card that isn't great is a bad strategy.

I was able to post my dupes on the marketplace

Dude... you must hang out with Negative Nancy and bad news Carl. It's "optional", YOU DON'T HAVE TO DO IT! If you do, then it's a valid point that you can QS, albeit to your point a losing strategy if you're worried about stubbs.
Lighten up already. It's just a game man

You can still go back and do it at the end for whatever measly reward there is
-
Apologies if this has been posted elsewhere, but I don't remember seeing it. While you can't do the Stage 2 missions once you get to Stage 3, you can go back and do the optional collection once you've earned all the cards. You don't get much, just 1500 stubs and a Show pack, but at least it's something. Edit: Sorry, my forums page hadn't refreshed and I can now see that someone else just posted it.

I think you are missing something.
If you got to stage two then you did all you could in Stage One. Everyone progressed to stage 2 at 65 points, it does not matter which missions or moments you did to get to that point total. We all left points unearned in stage 1.
Stage 2 should have just enough points to get to Rizzo. Are you sure you have done every moment? Every Mission (including PXP with Dawson)? And the collection?
Each stage is like it's own mini program. There are enough points in each stage to progress to the next one.
