They don’t they play a couple games and when one game doesn’t go their way they come to complain on the forums… unlike most of us just take it like an adult and move on.
Man, it’s not easy. I lost 3 games yesterday and really feel like SDS cheated me on two, the other one I really deserved to lose, no complaints, no excuses.

Also, the game didn’t hold your hand the way it does now and it’s become nothing but participation trophy gameplay because SDS doesn’t want you to quit playing.
And by the way….I see players defend this game all day long, every day….yet I don’t see them say why they enjoy the online gameplay. Unless you like garbage hits, magnet pitches, good input that gets you nothing until the game decides it….and the game helping you win because you can’t do it on your own.

Most of us know 16 and 17 was the best game. I think when they went to the 125 attributes is mess things up. I play less and less online every year. This is the only game I play. I am glad they added Mini Season. I still like the last few years of TA and the reward path. This year i have only played 3 games of online. Last year I played about 100 and that was mostly in the first month to get the WS reward but after that it was not worth it. Most people that sill play online of accepted the way the game plays. That does not mean they do not want it fixed to be better.

I did not play 15 online or play DD. My first experience with DD was 16 but only toward the end. 17 was great IMO for pitching and Hitting but it had some bad glitches with base running and fielding especially with the catcher but was still better than 18,19,20,21, and 22. I did like 21 the best out of the games after 17.

I'm having fun with this game online even though you are correct Its geared for casuals and free swingers. You just have to find a way to have fun with the 60-100 dollars you spent on this game. Good luck to you.

I enjoy online gameplay. I find it fun. I only hit 882 in Ranked but didn't start until last week of the first season. Garbage hits happen. So do hard hit outs. There are times I question "why didn't that got out". Then other times I question "how the hell did that go out". The game isn't perfect. You wont find one that is. This game can improve but you will always have randomness involved. It is baseball. A round bat and a round ball. Real baseball randomness happens multiple times in a game. I expect it every game and seem to enjoy the game for what it is vs what a perfect game would look like. Its your perception on the game vs what it really is. Most should try to enjoy it for fun vs taking every pitch so seriously. Just my 2 cents.

People need to stop with saying 17 had good gameplay. You could hit oppo nukes being late on an inside fastball, the base running cheese was absolutely horrible, extremely slow throwing animations, you could play anyone at 1B with no penalty.
I’ll give you that hitting is not fun this year but this game is 100x better than 17.

Gonna throw my two cents in here and say 17>22 and it’s not even close.
The basics of 17 like pitching and hitting more than make up for its bugs and glitches. 22 literally is a combo of the worst aspects of 18-21. -

Thank you. I generally don't click on profiles. I judge people by words they type, and not by interpretation of user names or searching game history etc.
