I work (NMS) ... completed 4 teams so far...pulled 4 diamonds (best: Judge) flipped like crazy creeping over 200 k stubs... yall are psychos for already finishing or close to. Roughest pack luck and stub margins its ever been since DD started.

Stop it. Im NMS and im 4 cards away from finishing the LS. Of course i got lucky with a few good pulls (Trout, DeGrom, Hader and Scherzer) but i've grinded my [censored] off for the rest. The only people that actually have to spend money are the idiots that buy bundles because opening packs is "fun" instead of grinding and buying the cards they want like most of us have learned to do.

I haven’t bought a pack since ‘16. But, pulling Trout and deGrom is a major, major advantage. If only everyone could be that lucky, then everyone would be four cards away.

I’m very happy for you all if have completed the collection with NMS. I didn’t say it was impossible. I said it was more difficult with the changes they made. I think far fewer people will complete the collections this year. I think that is pretty clear.

I’m glad you all are contributing to the conversation, especially those that offered concrete advice on how to get it done.

Pulling Trout and DeGrom last year would have been great too but that didnt happen. Still finished LS NMS by the end of May. This year, its not as big a deal because there are more cards in the LS near or over 200K. Last year, Trout hovered around 500K, Acuna, Tatis and DeGrom were around 200K....and then everything else was easily obtainable without a long grind.

Right now i need Vlad (213K), Ohtani (185K), Acuna (225K) and Tatis (185K) and I'll still be done by the end of May. No buying stubs, no flipping, no RTTS cheese....just grinding the game and saving my stubs for what i need.

*I should also add that i sell every card i dont need. I dont waste them on exchanges when i can get all the xp i need by playing the game. Id rather have the stubs for selling them.

Well, I guess I’m not grinding enough. I’m playing as much as I can but that’s only about two hours a day. I thought that was a lot but I guess it isn’t.

Yeah because the only way people can do it is if they live on the game apparently. 🙄

Maybe you're just grinding the wrong stuff...or, like i said earlier, wasting stubs on packs.

Meh, I dunno. I’m NMS and I finished LS a couple weeks ago. You can grind that conquest for packs upon packs. Prices of LS players on crappy teams are high, so easy stubs there on duplicates. RTTS grind easy for xp and stubs via diamond equipment. It’s doable

Did you read what I wrote, fool? I said I don’t buy packs. Besides, you pulled Trout and deGrom. You really have no advice to give on this topic. Beat it, [censored].

(I can’t stand people like you who get sarcastic online for no reason. I hate people who say things online that they wouldn’t say in person. Mike Tyson was right).

I was worried about the LS collection at first, but now I am just a couple big NL cards away from complete. So I am right on pace with the last couple years game. Definitely dont need to spend extra.

Same here. 3 teams left in the AL, I have 350k stubs and have not spent a dime. I could easily finish 2 but instead I'm grinding for Trout first. Stubs are harder to come by but still possible. I do agree that adjusting QS values has hurt. Golds are still hard to pull in packs but some of the 80s are going for around 500 stubs which is less than some silvers.

It's hilarious that you think playing video games 6 hours a day is honorable because you didn't spend money, but yet to those that can't sit home and play videogames... your an idiot if you spend money to enjoy the game. So spending money is for idiots, but playing videogames 40 hours a week is fine. If your 4 cards away from completing LS and haven't spent a penny on packs.... you have sunk massive amounts of time playing a videogame. For me I enjoy the game, but it's way easier to drop $100 on this game than get 3 hours free time on a random week day. When you people say spending money makes you an idiot, it makes you sound jealous, poor, and pathetic.

People DO have time to play but still want to drop money? Cool let em

Aside from cheating and boosting I don't get the obsession with how much money or time other people spend on the game

Look, I've had red hot luck from the packs this year and I'm three teams away from the live series collection. I'm in no rush. The mystery map and mini seasons are a great way to make stubs and earn xp.

Just finished LS collections yesterday NMS. Got lucky on a few diamond pulls but most of it was just from grinding and flipping cards when the market was hot.

It's so hard to time the market this year, the SDS bots that instantly undercut sell orders aren't helping either. The profit margin just isnt there anymore either, now you've gotta grind flip common cards...which is now just way too cumbersome.

Me too I collected pretty much everything besides the diamonds I don't have. Now I grind free packs then sell all the duplicates for free stubs to buy the big diamonds. So this doesn't apply to me. Haven't spent a dime. I'm having a blast so far this year.

I was able to flip to the LS collection. It's tedious but not impossible. The best pull I've had from packs was Trea Turner and that was after he was downgraded and after I'd gotten Randy.
