I need some encouragement for hitting

I am struggling horribly. Help please?
Practicing hitting isn't the same when someone throws sliders every pitch and then throw 100mph fb....
Funny thing is, when I switch over to ranked online play(Dodgers) I always rake.
I'm just lost.

Take a long break. Play some thing else for a bit. I started the year hitting .400+ and can't hit right now either. I'll give it a rest for a couple of days or so and come back raking.

I’ve been taking more breaks. I’ll play for maybe an hour than play something else. If I play for too long at one time, I go into autopilot and I start hitting like [censored]. It might also sound silly but I don’t overthink when playing now. I try to relax more and the hits seem to come more but that could just be a coincidence.

Only other piece of advice is to take more pitches. Get comfortable in 2 strike counts. The more pitches, the lower fatigue as well as more mistakes. I try to get at least 15 pitches per inning and ideally 20 if I can be that patient

play more when you feel like your thumb is in the zone and less when you're just not making the contact you want to see. I'll typically play more games when I'm locked in. Doesn't happen every day when you're on a heater.

It's not you, it's this trash game. Baseball is fun, this is about as boring as it could get. They seriously need to open up the hitting, on all levels, and drastically increase pack odds and rewards. All those useless repeat packs is pathetic. They don't improve the game, they just rehash it.

I'm not the best hitter or even a good hitter but I have found out that when I lock into a zone and just look for pitches there I tend to hit a lot better. Like most have said it's mainly about being patient but that is easier said than done. lol

Sliders every pitch? I haven't played anyone that throws sliders every pitch.

Sliders every pitch? I haven't played anyone that throws sliders every pitch.
