Perfect with 125 power should be a HR no matter the ballpark...

That looks like it was affected by pitcher confidence. The pitch was 97 mph and the exit velocity was probably less than that. Pitcher confidence should not affect exit velocity in my opinion. The pci size should be reduced instead.
Pitcher confidence should have about 1% of the current impact it does in this game. A guy shouldn’t give up one hit and suddenly pitch like he is a little leaguer who has never stepped on the mound before and a strikeout should not mean he turns into Kerry Wood in his 20k game.

I've had HRs with way less power to this location but trout... warning track power lol

That’s pretty bad. I wonder what the elevation is for that park?

If anything confidence should help the pitchers control not mess up the opponents pci.

About sea level; Shippet and LMP have been brought back down this year.

Man alive, I swear I had one exactly like that the other day. Man on first, sent him on contact, hit a FB upper middle of the zone (with trout too!) and said bye bye baseball……then when it got caught my runner was already rounding 3rd.
Computer gonna get their double play on me one way or another.

Barnes Canyon? The two look the same to me except left field. Barnes always had a much lower elevation than LM but someone earlier said they brought it down to sea level. Still IMO your hit should have been gone to me.

Geez how deep is that fence? Center says 420 so I am guessing that part of the fence is maybe 440?

Look at the bottom of the hitting feedback. I thought it was laughing as well before I noticed the stadium name. That probably had something to do with it.

You have to be a kid…your crying about not hitting a HR in a video game.
Lol….sound familiar?????????????????????
-
I don't normally agree with these and instead come in with a "hardest hit ball in statcast era was a double play", but considering the park, dimensions and the player, this 100% should have been gone lol
-
Agreed. If it's online competitive, 100%. "Stick skills reign supreme" -- NOT.
Any PP with a 100+ power guy should be gone, anywhere save Polo Grounds.

My PP always falls short.

You all act like the pitcher should not matter at all, I did not look at it, what inning, Who was the pitcher, What is the pitcher Attributes, Was the pitch a perfect perfect pitch? All that plays a part as well. Not every perfect perfect hit should be a HR. So many other factors. Was the Wind blowing in? What time of day I am sure matters.

While I agree not all PPs are the same (especially mine), this instance that PP should have been a long dong. Pitcher attributes, stamina, confidence should not have kept that PP short.
-
Just curious? How far is that ball supposed to go?
450?
480?It looks like he hit it off Brian Wilson (Hr/9 rating 88) and hit it to the part of the field that has a 430-440 foot fence.
I'm not saying that it should not be a HR, just that it does not seem as clear cut as others are making it out to be. That was still hit around 420 ft and a HR in almost every other stadium.

Blahblahblah.
ONE HUNDRED TWENTY FIVE POWER.
PERFECT-PERFECT.
Pinpoint perfect pitch shouldn't matter. Unless the wind is blowing in 25 mph, shouldn't matter. Pitcher confidence, HR/9, H/9...shouldn't matter.
So long as SDS stands by competitive mode being "stick skills reign supreme," none of that should matter.
125 power, perfect-perfect is all that should matter.

I disagree, I am not saying that should not have been a HR but I think everything matters Hitters attri, and Pitchers Attri the inning the condition IE wind, looks to be hit to the furthest part of the ball park, how do they code that into the game also matters, Something on attr by pitchers or the conditions of the park or what velo do you need vs Pitching attr to hit it out of that park in that location all matters. What is the percentage of that ball being hit out in that field with that pitcher and that hitter in that part of the game. Just bringing some light of why that may have not a perfect perfect HR. Frustrating for the hitter yes indeed. If we knew how this game was designed and coded then we would have more of an understanding on why it plays the way it does online. We will never know that. Other thing to considers is if User hitting used square to hit that then yeah probably should have gone out but with x or o that may have been the difference and what level was the game on, R, VET, AS, HOF, LEG all matters, IMO

but pitcher attribute have to matter hitting is not the only thing that matter in this game, if pitching does not matter then why have them just go play HR Derby, saying Perfect Perfect pitches do not matter in this game is ignorant. Not saying that pitch was. Look at the location of that pitch it was up and was not down the middle of the plate. What button did you use to swing with.
