Whenever I watch a baseball game, I remember old players.
How about Carlos Gonzalez and Troy Tulowitski.
-
Willie Wilson, because he should be a Hall of Famer and plays in my monthly Sunday golf group and is one really helluva nice guy.
-
watching the Mariners right now. How about Fernando Rodney? He had a good fastball/circle change combo.
-
How about Denny McLain and Mickey Lolich

Peter Griffin

I would like to see teams of yesteryear such as Brooklyn dodgers, Philadelphia athletics, California angels, Seattle pilots, Colt 45s, teams from negro league, etc etc. .Or at least the ability to create them and use them in franchise mode. And have the retro uniforms available instead of getting them randomly. Also have them announced in audio names.

Jackie Jensen, Tim Lincecum, Barry Bonds, Matt Cain.

As a Cub fan who grew up in the 90s, I would LOVE to see Mark Grace. He was the hits leader in all of baseball that decade that produced a lot of hall of famers.
As a baseball fan, pull up top 100 hit leaders of each decade. The list will pull out some great forgotten names, memories, and is a GREAT place to start in finding some fresh names and moments to add to the game. -

Go ahead and add Michael Jordan, Will Ferrell, Billy Crystal, and Kurt Russell as well!
Oh and we can’t forget Eddie Vedder!

Would rather them not add another function to the game and fix what they currently have. Stop adding new stuff while not fixing the broken old stuff already in the game. That’s short sighted and outright foolhardy

What new function? We’re just talking about adding players.

Pete Rose

If their name is an option in the create a player database and/or at some point they HAVE BEEN a legend in a game, they should just make them a legend in the game. Why give us the opportunity to make them ourselves and why waste the time recording their names and adding their stances if they dont just make the player…?

Roger Hornsby

I love the thought of having guys from days past that aren't necessarily HOF material but were solid if not All Star players for a while.
Ruben Sierra
Pete Incaviglia
Harold Reynolds
Mike Greenwell
Wally Joyner
Dan Gladden
Jeff Kent
Jose Cruz
Chris Sabo
Matt Williams
And I'll always hold out hope for Caminiti, Lance Berkman, and Manny Ramirez. Fred Lynn would be nice too.I've only ever played 21 so if some of these guys have been in the game or if they're in 22, I apologize. Other than that I'd like to see some of them. They don't all have to be God tier 99, some mid level gold or low diamonds would really be cool to use, especially early on in the game.

I forgot about some of the old Blue Jays too, like Jorge Bell, Jesse Barfield, and Lloyd Moseby.
