Turn the 17 servers back on please

For the love of god..some of us want to win when we earn it and lose when we deserve it. This game has become nothing but battling the Simulation that’s trying it’s hardest to favor sides.
At what point does the simulation have more control than the player? I could play a top player and put up a fight when in reality I should get destroyed. Is that how you want online competitive games to be? The better player has to beat the opponent and the simulation? Can we go back to a more PvP experience please?

Nah just chillin. Not worked up. Just answered your question about when the simulation takes over user control. Never said it was or wasn’t fair or shouldn’t be changed. But earned it isn’t really the language I would use. If you think I’m acting up that’s an opinion you’re allowed to have.

Take the L… lol gtfo. This game is as bad as COD with participation trophy logic for online play… skill doesn’t exist…. If you suck, learn to play and get better. This game rewards trash just like the cods since BO4… retention is more important than gameplay, that’s just garbage.

Similar, but unfortunately different people. There are a ton of people here in this forum that have displaced anger, are justifiably miserable for one reason or another, but are just directing it towards anything they can find - politics, this game, etc.

Well if you “earned a win” but lost you didn’t really earn did you? No matter how much you believe you did earn it, you didn’t. I’m sure there are a lot more games you think you earned rather than games you deserve to lose as you put it. But it doesn’t matter what else I type here you’re just going to ask some other question to try and justify your opinion.

I feel this post has gone a few different directions from the original post which was about “simulation having more control than the player”. I have noticed that I feel I am putting more effort into battling the simulation rather than the opposing player. I am catching myself thinking much more about pitcher confidence, mound visits, clutch,etc. as I play the game. I am noticing myself seeing situations unfold that I know will generate a specific outcome. For example, I know situations when I am hitting and the next pitch will be far out of the zone or grooved right down the middle.
At the end of the day it is a computer program and while you can debate things like RNG and DDA all day, we do know that there are things in the game like clutch and pitcher confidence that directly influence things and I have probably waited too long to adjust.

I do think there are some small things and one major thing that could help this game be better.
The major thing take away the 125 attributes go back to 99 this will fix pitching IMO where 17 was the best for pitching since it has been terrible and became all about hitting HR look how bad 18 was the worst. Since they went to 125 pitching has sucked online. Reason I do not like playing online.
Decrease contact and power on swings outside the zone. In one of stream they said the pci would shrink on swings outside the zone I did see that happen as Foul balls are still a thing even offline vs CPU.
I do not experience pitches floating in the middle of the plate in this years game in the very limited games online and it does not happen for me vs CPU. My pitches go where I want them to go i have always used Meter.
As far as bad timing, late, early swings, with bloopers in this game, that does happen in baseball now what is the percentage of that happening in the game? With what type of players and what attributes play a part in that?
I have noticed that I get more hits up the middle this year where the pitcher does not stop everything, I mostly notice it with Mickey Mantle, that is a positive. -

I would justify “earning a win” as better PCI placement and timing throughout the game. Unfortunately this doesn’t always get you the win…it should in the video game world (better skills) but due to the simulation it doesn’t.
