I was playin a buddy of mine the other day, Jim the Flim, and he told me of a wild strategy he swears works really well. Ol' Jim the Flim has been known to pull my leg, but in our game, he did pull it off and it worked against me.

It's a simple strategy. You let your opponent pop a solo shot or two in the first inning - you don't force it, but you're tossing in meatballs a plenty. Once you're down 1-2 runs real early, according to Jim the Flim, the DDA then massively swings in your favor, as follows:

-your opponent is now at high risk of fielding errors, you are not

-your opponent is now at high risk of perfect/perfects being outs or singles, yours are now high probability of dingers

-if anyone is gonna get an off-pci homer, it will be you' his real nice but early swings will pull foul, yours will bounce off the foul pole.

Is Jim the Flim pulling my leg again to get me to lob him meatballs when we play head to head? For a while early in the season, he had me convinced that Ron Guidry was an elite pitcher, so I think he's up to his classic Jim the Flim shenanigans once again. Or is he?

I think the best strategy is to hope the rng is in your favor.

First things first, DDA is a patented EA sports decision table embedded in the coding of the game. It certainly is not random. When people use the term DDA it makes you sound ignorant. Second, you might want to adjust that tin foil hat. Jim the Flim got you good!!!! Lmfao

My strategy is to score at least one more run than my opponent. If I could just execute...

The whole point of the strategy is to kick the DDA into your favor by being the team down a couple runs, so Jim the Flim's strategy is built upon the hypothesis that RNG that used to drive video games is not random at all in modern games - it's been folded into the DDA. It's not truly RNG anymore because the R is a misnomer, as Jim the Flim tells it.

Either way DDA does not exist in this game because it’s a patented EA sports decision making table. Just call it rng or comeback logic. DDA specifically means something totally different.

I sometimes long for the weekends so on Thursday’s I put on my underwear labeled for Friday. This is all in hopes that I trick the calendar and then the next day, Saturday kicks in.

Let’s just say I got fresh Thursday undies that have never been worn and I wouldn’t want to be in a closed room with me come Friday.

I think it has a lot to do with the other player being more relaxed while pitching and they make more mistakes. At least that's from my experience. I have gone down 6-0 in BR in the first inning and coming back to tie or win because the other guy starts swinging after everything and/or start throwing everything for strikes. They think they have an easy game now. I have done it also when I have a lead or what I think is a weaker opponent. Before you know it I just lost to some with 300-321 record.
