I say that I’ll be here around 22s release…but I will not buy 22 if SDS doesn’t address improving H2H connections and/or freeze offs in some manner
No excuse to have as many connection issues, server issues, and freeze offs as we’ve had this year.
Was looking forward to using Finest Trout but after coming back to the same pile of [censored], I have 0 motivation to play 21 anymore

I had a first happen last night while playing BR. I'm batting in the 2nd inning with one out, ground to 2nd base and he throws me out for the 2nd out. Then the dreaded all the players are on the field just kind of standing around doing their own thing like every other freeze off happens and this goes on for about 20-30 seconds and the game was tied 2-2 so no big deal I'm thinking I'll give it another 15 seconds or so to see if he quits, if not I'll quit and go on to the next game because I'm not going 12-0 anyways. Then all of a sudden gameplay starts back up and my next hitter is at the plate and the game continued til the end. It was the weirdest thing I had experienced this year because I've never had a freeze off all of a sudden start back up.

I had one the other night in online rated after opponent threw a high fastball back to the backstop for a full count. I waited a few minutes went to bed recorded game and after the hour record limit at same point the game resumed wtf

The simple fact is that the quality of H2H play is dictated by your connection to your opponent and the quality of their internet…one of those being solely out of your control. That’s pathetic for a sports game in 2022
If H2H play is still based on a peer to peer connection I’m going to struggle to bring myself to buy 22

I'm on PS4 and I've had around 2 to 4 freeze offs all year that I can remember. Don't think it's specifically a last gen issue.

Nothing will change in that department mate, SDS are notorious cheapskates when it comes to networking QOL.

Fix the freezes. All the great content is moot when freezes are driving people away, SDS.

Just to be frank… head to head on this game is terrible in every aspect. The gameplay completely changes and is no longer realistic and is very laggy and timing is ruined. Offline and online seems like playing two completely different games. Something is off and is the reason why I don’t play online with this game.
