If I had a P5 I'd wanna use him.
Its weird but when I get my guys to P5 I stop using them lol. And start working on some more. Its like something I have to do to complete the game or something. Only P5 I keep using is Vlad Guerrero. Because there isnt anyone that can replace him.
A bit on a tangent, but y’all ever seen a P5 reliever? I don’t think I’ve seen a single one.
Every time I look at my pen. Milestone goose. Have 5-6 others at P4, but not targeting them specifically for the bump.

I have a ton of P5 players ( probably 30 plus), but like you, once they hit mark are seldom used
You have me beat almost three-fold Wyatt. I have 13 with 10 of them being 99's.

Batters: Griffey, Mays, Hank, Jackie, JMorgan, Mantle, Gehrig, Honus, Murray, Chipper, Papi, Piazza, Soriano, LWalker, Kemp, Mookie, Wander, Adley, Yelich, Lindor, BReynolds, Polanco, Ketel, Schwarber, Albies, Grandal, Trout, JDominguez, SFinley, BRoberts, RMauricioThe icing on that P5 is just too pretty.
That's a nice collection! I almost have Hank, Mays, Honus, Schwarber, and Trout to P5.

I felt the same way a few months ago when it felt like I was facing degrom every other game, it was super annoying. However, at this point in the game cycle I think people should use whoever they want. He's a top 5 pitcher and there's only a few months left in the game's life. My degrom is at P3, but I rarely use him anymore. I'll still pull him out every now and then for fun though and I don't begrudge anyone who still uses him at this point.
Fair Enough.
I think more than facing the P5 DeGrom, maybe what I was reacting to is the feeling of fighting the game and my opponent at the same time.It’s just super frustrating when you pick up your opponent’s tendencies, get the pitch you’re looking for, put a good swing on it, and get zero results.
This happens no matter which pitcher you might be facing, I suppose.

I have over a dozen p5 but my best bullpen is p3 Rivera. Rest are all p2 or lower.

For guys like me, in my 40's, outlier is a killer. Reaction time isn't there anymore. So if I can't hit DG or any of the outlier players, that's why. Not because I don't know what's coming.
Reaction time being relative to age is a real thing, and it sucks.
Try being 60 and doing it...
This rule doesn't apply to @TEXAS10PT_PSN though...he says he's old but he sure doesn't play like it
LMAO....I have turned on DeGrom a few times. I'll be 67 in three months and I'm in my Prime hahahahaha

I have both Eckersley and Rivera at P5. Pitchers are the easiest to get because both their pitching and batting count.
How many times do you bat with a RP???

I’m not “upset” about anything. I made a comment about using P5 DeGrom in a meaningless ranked game in December. Some other people expressed differing opinions.
There is no “right” or “wrong” or “winning” in discussion forums. Sometimes this seems to get lost on some of you.

Kudos to you, that is dedication! SP are pretty easy to parallel but not RP since I pitch them shorter than 3 innings and rarely bat with them.
