Anyone have a guess to when SDS will announce the cover athlete?

This is only my second year playing the game, 1st for DD. I just looked at the covers from all seasons. Am I wrong in saying Trout has never been the cover?
My guesses I order:
- Ohtani
- Vlad Jr.
- Scherzer (though I didn't see a single pitcher so maybe they don't do pitchers?)
- Soto
- Trout
My hope: Pujols retirement tour cover. If he comes back that is.

Up until last year we got the cover athlete announced late October/early November. I think it's gotta be Ohtani, Soto, Vladdy, or maybe Posey.
I also just hope the game releases in March and not 3 weeks into the MLB regular season.

Probably most everyone that plays the game is all. What I don't care about is who decides to do the cover of a game these days. I usually buy digital only. I cannot see it being Ohtani. Seems he would be tough to get.

Out there thought; SDS will probably use one of the aforementioned live series players, unless... Bonds finally gets into the HOF, actually having a chance to aquire a license for his rights.
I think they may delay the athlete cover reveal this year. I could be wrong, but a man can dream, can't he?
Hell, I'm still waiting for the Big Unit.

I would guess Mookie Betts, Tim Anderson, Buxton or Semien.
I highly doubt it would be any of those 4.....
