I count 22 players on the list, and once they're done with Finest I'll be surprised if there are even that many cards left to be released. There just isn't enough time left in the game cycle. Best case scenario is maybe half of those players getting a high diamond this year, but even that is probably wishful thinking.
depends on what you classify as the game cycle.prior years content ended late nov/ early dec.(except for holiday stuff) last year the forever stuff was after new years, i m guessing they push it further this year, especially with releasing a month late.

Cal Ripken had a bunch of different stances throughout his career. He tinkered with it constantly. It would be nice if they gave him one of his different stances that would help his swing animation.

He’s really tall so his strike Zone is huge and his swing is long and slow. Cal is my all time favorite player too but I never use him,
I think he was a program player or something in 17. I remember being super excited to get him because on paper he was a huge improvement for my team...and boy was I disappointed lol. I've only used him for team builds since.

We know they usually add rewards for each card type collection with each new Big Collection. Any chance they add a flashback PotM card for collecting all PotMs? I cant remember if they did this last year. @SaveFarris_PSN was that where the Castellanos card came from?
It would be a good way to add in that Mondesi card. -

Yeah . It’s really disappointing. If you ever want to hear about a crazy Cal story that was swept under the rug. Look up Cal Ripken and Kevin Costner. It’s pretty wild and I was told from a fairly reliable source it’s true. You can only believe half of what you hear though.

I doubt that story is real for many reasons. Cal and Costner were friends since 1990. Costner was staying at Cal's old home close to I-83, but his house wasn't far from I-83 or the ballpark. The story goes that Ripken left, forgot something and turned back only to find Cal's wife and Costner in bed. They must have got right to it the second that Cal left. Not buying.
The next part is that an O'z employee handled the power outage. But there was not a full outage. They got everything turned back on quickly, but 20 lights were out impacting vision on the 1st base side. Randy Johnson was pitching that night and the home plate ump thought player safety was impacted so they postponed. If this was a cover up the ground crew, head umpire and a few other would have had a hand in it.
Also, for the people saying that no other areas of downtown were impacted, they wouldn't be as Camden Yards is on its own power grid and source. This story is fake.

Last year towards the end, the added a few pack/headliner/ballin bundles for collecting each card type. Wouldn’t shock me in the least if some of those pop up Friday as well.

They did, but they added it simultaneously with the last POTM program. Since they haven’t added it already, I doubt it returns this year.

I lived in Baltimore most of my life. Grew up in Fells Point and Highlandtown.

I think the Big One is Griffey Jr., but I'm gonna guess someone like Trea Turner for one of the finest collection bosses.
I know he has his 98 ASG card, but I feel like the finest cards released so far are lacking speed guys-- outside of Tatis--and Trea would fit the bill for sure.
Nimmo and Garcia have some speed, but SDS did them dirty on the stealing attributes, and Marte is the only one with 80ish speed and plus base stealing attributes of the cards announced so far not named Tatis Jr..
I like to have three speed guys, preferably Righty Lefty Righty at the top of my order, and I'm trying to create a Finest lineup with just such a setup.
Incidentally, I could also see either Clase or JRod as a boss, as I feel they're both teammates who are deserving as well. And of course, there's Soto.
