For a long time basically all I played in this game was Challenge of the Week even though I never had any chance of winning. I just enjoyed the idea of trying to hit a home run. But after getting heavily into the full game this year through Diamond Dynasty, it amazes me that I stayed with it so long. You never get any stubs and it’s impossible to win.
I’d love to hear from anyone who does play it and really competes.
I use to play to warm up now and then. Not this year though. I would win some pack bundles every now and then. Never finished in the top 5 or anything like that. After about 20 minutes or so into a run I lose focus. Hard to stay locked in for as long as it takes to get a top score.
How did you win pack bundles? I never did great — I think I broke the 100,000 barrier only once or twice -- but I never won anything.
I used to warm up with it as well. Eventually I realized I was better off with custom practice.
I think I've spent a grand total of about 10 minutes on this mode since I started playing the show back in 15. That's how long it took me to realize that I had absolutely no hope of ever being good enough to win any prizes, making it a complete waste of my time.
