Cardinals Set Franchise Record - 15 Straight Wins
-
In a wild come from behind victory the Cardinals have set a Franchise record with 15 consecutive wins.
Lost in the shuffle - Yadier Molina moves up to third on the Cardinals all-time hits list, passing Rogers Hornsby and trailing only Stan Musial and Lou Brock.
And in some incredibly bad baserunning by the cubs the Cardinals turned this wild double play with runners on 1st and 3rd with one out.
Ground ball to Goldschmidt
Throws home to Yadi (runner is caught between 3rd and home)
Yadi to Arenado and Arenado tags the runner
Arenado to Edman (covering 1B - runner caught between 1B and 2B)
Edman to Yadi (covering 3B - Runner caught between 2b and 3B)
Yadi to Harrison Bader (in from CF to cover 2B)
Bader to Dejong (covering 3b) and Dejong tags out the runner. -
Had to look it up... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YuBCuum4ilo... That was wild...
3-2-5-4-2-8-6 DP... Six out of the nine position players had touched the ball... And they all maintained great situational awareness! -
Cool, thanks for the link!

I was surprised that it wasn't on MLB.com and their game highlights.

Fifteen straight is pretty impressive. They're really working hard for the right to get beat down by the dodgers and be quickly forgotten by most fans.
