I still wont win.... I cant beat SHowdown no matter what I become too impatient
I’m not trying to be rude, but if you can’t beat this showdown then I genuinely don’t understand how you’re able to accomplish anything at all in this game.
It’s seriously as easy as people are saying it is.
I keep losing on the 3rd boss because of terrible base-running and no pitches over the plate. I agree the first two rounds are easy and perhaps I'm pressing way too much.
To be fair, I'm not great at online hitting, I'm great at pitching but that doesn't help with this showdown. But I rarely have trouble with cou hitting and I beat the first inning showdown (the real one) Guess I'll just keep trying. I wish I could laugh it off and finish it in 7 pitches like you all but it's my first year playing the game and I have trouble laying off bad pitches.
-
I'm a top simulator motorsports racer and NHL video game player but even this showdown took me three attempts. Everybody has different skill sets
-
Ok, I finished it, just stopped stressing and did it my 4th try. The last round is extremely easy.
-
Whew! Yes, wasn’t too bad after all! All Showdowns should be like this! Heh.

I see you finished it, congrats!
Yeah the third boss is the toughest.
And BTW me doing in on 7 pitches was extraordinarily luckily. I could never come close to that again. -

And BTW me doing in on 7 pitches was extraordinarily luckily. I could never come close to that again.I definitely get how it can be done one a dozen pitches or less. Ironically after I kept grounding out and flying out with Bryce Harper, Piazza and Miggy, I won with a 2 run bomb by.....
Pee Wee Reese. I just needed to vent but knew I'd get it in a couple tries Haha. Congrats on crushing it. I'm 10 points away from Mad Max. -

I'm probably average at all the showdowns but complete them all.
This one is stupid.I had Soto in the leadoff spot.
First boss he homered on the first pitch to complete that one.
Second boss, SF on the first pitch to complete that one.
Third boss, 3 run homer on the 2nd pitch (first pitch was a ball) to complete that one.
Last boss, homered on the third pitch (first 2 were balls) and I was done.I saw 7 pitches combined for the 4 bosses.
I never had an at bat with any other player I drafted except Soto. lol. That was ridiculously easy/lucky but even without that start, you could almost compete that showdown with your eyes closed.
Did it this morning in like 8 min. Confirmed stupid easy.
-
I hate showdown and was able to do this one easily. I hate showdown so much that I bought PS plus just to play online for the FOD program to avoid the showdown.
-
I did this yesterday and I avoid showdown like the plague. First 3 mini bosses were done very easily. First 4 batters in the final were line outs and I started getting that sinking showdown feeling but next guy up (Miggy!) hit a tank and that was that.
If I can do this literally anyone should be able to.

No it is ridiculous easy, I suck at them and won't even attempt them normally, this one is only 3 mini bosses and going into the final showdown tied 15-15 with 20 outs to go. I don't know if SDS could make a easier showdown to be honest
And you get to stack your team with multiple 99s and even more 90+ cards.
Yes in the end i had, 99 Trea Turner, 99 Harper, 99 Fielder, 99 Gary Carter, and 97 tops now Escobar. It's literally a cake walk.
It was a cake walk

maybe I’ll try this one. Even the super easy TA4 I can’t complete.

I am very vocal on here on how much I hate showdowns and I can say this one is beyond easy. I barely had to try.
-
The TA4 showdowns are stupid easy too. You can literally play an hour of showdowns and complete a division. Had to stop doing this because I wanted to actually use some of these cards in a more realistic manner. And wanted to complete the conquests and have them have meaning.

You get what? Vouchers that can be exchanged for 15 points for completing the TA4 showdown?
And I think you need 150 points to complete a division. That's 10 showdowns an hour or one every 6 minutes. Seems pretty unrealistic.
And they are not as easy as the Scherzer one. Maybe not difficult for many but not as easy as the Scherzer showdown.

I’ve only made it to the final showdown once and lost. Every other time I make it to the final challenge before the boss and Amd get stuck.
Which is odd because it’s on veteran difficulty which I normally play at and win.

Ok I exaggerated about the hour thing but it can easily be done in under 2 hours. And yes I have completed one of the TA 4 showdowns in under 10 minutes. But yes the Scherzer one is easier because it 3 mini bosses as opposed to 4.
-
Finished it in 10 minutes

Same here. Juan Soto in the leadoff spot is how I got it done.

I agree. All of them were somewhat stressful at least for me and I never managed to beat the Nolan Ryan one but this one was too easy and all I really needed was one good Vlad Guerrero (Sr.) hit.
-
I actually lost the first time I played. In the second game I did not realize they had a pitcher running. He got gunned down at home on a long fly ball almost to the track in center. Be careful with that one, second time I subbed in a runner but Soto hit a gapper to lead it off.
