What is the best line up?
-
Rotation is set with Degrom, Nolan, Maddux, Ohtani, verlander with a spot start here and there with Walter. Question is what is the best lineup right now? Really struggling with how to play all my OF and 1b. I have Chipper at SS just so I can get Vlad Jr at 3rd but Sheff is a possibility. I do like Larkins swing but he only plays SS. Then Honus, Jackie or Mookie at 2nd. Frank or Papi at 1st (or vlad jr). Adley, Schwarber, pudge or JT at catcher Mantle for sure in center but then who are the other 2? Vlad Sr, Kemp, Acuna, Trout, Soriano? What do the rest of your lineups look like?
-
I’m in the same boat right now. I’m just gonna play ranked and use different guys and see who does best and ends up sticking. They’re all pretty good so you can’t really go wrong with one over the other in some spots

Jackie, Honus, Mantle, Frank, Chipper, Mookie, Adley, Biggio
This is what I'm going with so far. Biggio was actually one of my best cards the last time I used him. He'd be way higher in the order if my lineup wasn't so loaded. I haven't earned Jim Edmonds, Julio Rodriguez or Luis Gonzales yet, so maybe one of those guys will eventually replace him.

This is my opinion pre TA4. This will more than likely change.
- Jackie Robinson 2B
- Mookie Betts RF
- Chipper Jones 3B
- Vlad Sr. LF
- Vlad Jr. ASG 1B
- Ronald Acuna Jr. CF
- JT Realmuto ASG C
- Trea Turner/Tim Anderson SS
This could be modified 5 times over for me hahaha.

C : Pudge>Schwarber>Adley>Piazza
1st: Thomas, but there's like 5 options here whoever you hit
2nd: Mookie>Biggio or Jackie if you play higher difficulties>Soriano on all star. Joe Morgan is a sleeper pick here too idk where he fits in but hes great.
3rd: Chipper
SS: Cap. Was gonna just use Rollins cause he was my boy last year but 93 cvr isnt usable
LF: Gonzo is probably the best option if you get him to P2 for gold D. I use Clemente
CF: Mickey is a consensus top 3 card.
RF: Vlad Sr>Clemente>Walker.SP:
Degrom
Feller
Leiter
Ohtani (not a top 5 sp but the bat keeps him in the rotation.)

IMO
C- Biggio
1B: Frank
2B: Mookie
SS: Honus
3B: Chipper(can move him to short and Sheffield to 3rd too.)
LF:Gonzo
CF:Mantle
RF: Harper(I like Vlad Sr. better but there is a shortage of good lefty bats)
Bench: Sheffield, Walker, Jackie, Schwarber, WanderSP: Verlander, Degrom, Feller, Leiter, Walter/Edward
RP: Dibble, Goose, Mo, Kenley, Chapman, Miller, Britton/Soto, Hoffman

I didn't even consider Gonzo because of his speed but I might have to give him a try. Obviously he is just a place holder until we get a new Trout or Griffey.

My NL East lineup for TA4 before winning any bosses.
- Alfonso Soriano 2B
- Trea Turner ss
- Vlad Sr. RF
- Ronald Acuna jr. CF
- Chipper Jones LF
- Mike Schmidt 3B
- JT Realmuto C
- Pete Alonso HRD 1B
I think this lineup could compete with just about any. I've got one for each division (only 4 at a time since that is the max) This might be the best division lineup. Pitching is great too but not the strongest.
It's gonna be tough to decide what cards I will switch out. Any tips from those who have already completed the NL east TA4?

My lineup rn is

2B- lindor
