Also I didn't tell it to his family did i? I doubt they'd have the same view as someone who doesn't know him. To me he lived and died as the James bond of baseball. Step 1 throw no hitter in postseason step 2 go out high in a blaze of glory step 3 reach eternal victory.

Nobody is saying he shouldn't be in the game. I'm glad you enjoyed the Doc. His post season no hitter is still one of the greatest moments I've seen. I can have a dark sense of humor too but maybe just chill with the adderall/plane crash references on a public forum.
Otherwise, you are right....he was and is a badass and I'd love to have his 99 card.
