Anyone disappointed?

George Brett can be replaced by Chipper, Matt Kemp is kinda OK and Pedro is also OK but to compare to Degrom, Ryan and Cabrera, he might be overlooked. Overall, the bosses are good for collecting but to compare to the last inning bosses, this is kinda lackluster.

I didn't even log on today. I feel like I play now out of boredom, not because I am excited to play. I'm sure they have a great plan for the bug dosg to be released(mays, friffey, Foxx, Aaron, babe, pujols, etc) but I don't play year round. I know sds wants people to play year round but those cards won't make me come back in November and December. Lots of people already left for other games or out of frustration. Content has been amazing this year for sure it just stinks they hold the nest cards hostage. I kind of understand why, but at the same time they should realize that other games drop like battlefield, cod, madden(gross), etc and people don't play mob year round from release to release. I may end up in a straight jacket if I don't take several months off from this non consistent game. Still enjoy it though.

I normally stop playing except to get log in rewards and daily moments once I finish a inning. The main reason is just for a break. As much as I love this game I get burnt out. I play backlogged games until the new inning drops. Helps to keep me interested in the game.

It says a lot when the Headliner pack was the best content of the day... It's getting to the point where I have no desire to play. It's silly how many players still haven't got their 99s. The list is so long...

Nope, not disappointed. Just more great players to choose from. I like a lot of choices. Everyone still thinks Chipper is the best card in the game. After 598 atmbats with him he isn't the best player in my team. Wander Franco has more home runs and better batting average than Chipper at thirs. Plus he has better defense than Chipper even as a secondary position. Chipper is great but with all good players you can find what works for you,
-
There's only so much they can do to make one 99 better than another. At this point of the year, I think they're more focused on getting a good variety of card types out there and they're not necessarily even thinking about whether each new card is an upgrade over what came before.

I took Ryan last inning. I would easily give up any of these 6th inning bosses for the chance to take either Vlad Sr. Or Joe.

no cards you speak of not everyone has

I agree i actually keep making excuses to keep chipper on the bench. Jr is great but there are so many options. His switch hitting is his best quality. I also prefer wander, he still starts at SS. I tried lindor and sold him. I prefer wander.

Sell this inning boss and get vlad sr, he is 5 tools. Although I just picked up 99 Harper and oh my he is the same player with a lefty bat. Love him too.

Yeah kinda disappointed but will probably pick Brett because he was a HS teammate. Then buy Pedro
-
Only in Kemp. But luckily I only have to pick 1 hahaha. Brett is a legend with over 3,100 hits, 3 batting titles, an MVP, he hit .390 one year and is in the HOF
Pedro was my favorite pitcher growing up. I bet his card is nasty and I think that's the one I'll pick and buy Brett since I bet it will be cheaper down the road. I am new to this game this year. But I noticed there were 11 innings last year. In the last month we've received 99s for the following:
Miguel Cabrera
Roberto Clemente
Brooks Robinson
George Brett
Pedro Martinez
Matt Kemp
Lefty Grove
Vald Sr.
Joe Morgan
Nolan Ryan
Mike Piazza
Mike Schmidt
Tim Anderson
Joey Votto
Mookie BettsAnd whatever 99s are in Events, ranked seasons and BR. If I'm missing any, please feel free to add, there were also really good 98s and 97s dropped . They are dropping some seriously great cards and still have 5 more innings if it's like last year. At least 3. There will be some great cards coming, I have no doubt
