Is Hank a 6th inning boss?
-
Yadier Molina because I would assume it would be someone who has had other 98s and stuff I bet they give him a 99 because he only has this and maybe next season. He also deserves a ninety nine but they probably don’t want to make him a super late inning because that wouldn’t make sense.

I was thinking Tatis...it said his first 99 .cover guy has to have at least one 99 right?

The clue says “his first 99 OVR,” or something like that. Gotta be Hankasaurus, right?
BTW — I got a veggie sandwich from Jimmy John’s. It’s ok.
My money is on Orioles Chris davis. He just retired so getting a Signature Series card as a farewell and well earned tip o the cap.

@jbucs28_PSN
I thibk they mean first ever 99 card which would eliminate Tatis since he had one last year. I could be wrong tho. I think FS Adley or Milestone Kerry Wood or one of the new legends -
Jimmy Johns kinda sucks. Roast beast is ok. I'm a Jersey Mikes guy.

Oh JM’s is better in every way, but there’s not one as close to me as JJ’s and also JJ’s has a drive thru which is nice when I feel like a lazy slob

As an Orioles fan I don't even want that. lol Chris struck out all the time.

Kerry Wood
Kirby Puckett
and....eh, I don't really have a clue but I'll say Eddie Mathews. He was either BR or WS reward last year so I think he'd be easier to obtain this year.First two would fit the "His first 99..." thing.
-
I interpret that clue as a card that has been in the game in prior years that has gotten diamonds before but never a 99. So cards like Adley, Yadier Molina, and Kerry Wood that have all been mentioned above fits that description. Even tho technically the clue also applies to new legends like Pedro and Hank, I feel like they wouldnt have used that specific wording for these kind of cards
-
Wait until you see it’s Kirby.

Kerry Wood 20k game would be nasty. Gave up 1 hit. 125/k9, 125/h9.

Hahaha - could you imagine! They won't give Dennis Eckersley a 99 ovr who had arguably one of the best seasons of all-time by a closer ('92 he won the MVP and Cy Young). He did hit 53 HRs one year though...
-
I'm thinking it's either Hank Aaron, Ken Griffey Jr., or Pedro Martinez.

Griffey Jr has had a 99, Martinez or Aaron fit though.

Trevor Hoffman get a 99 before? I know he wasnt last year.

We all love @SchnauzerFace , but Jersey Mike's is the bomb. Especially#6 roast beef.

Just some suggestions although I'm almost positive it's Pedro or Aaron.
99 Wade Boggs lol i can hear the groans of frustration now
99 Eric Gagne (Milestone 84 saves in a row)
Or Aaron Judge (Milestone 50 HR Rookie season)ok the last one is kind of a joke, we all know how happy a certain member of this forum would be to see a 99 Aaron Judge.
