With the Pujols BR announcement who are some other players on the verge of retirement that you'd love to see get flashback glory?
I'll start... first my homer picks...
Signature Series Adam Wainwright: The way he's pitching it's hard to see him hanging it up but his Signiature Series card had a cult following last year.
Signature Series Yadier Molina: Heck, he might give Julio Franco a run for his money on longevity but this would be a popular card and we're hitting the dog days of summer.
2018 Second Half Matt Carpenter: Marp is almost certainly done after 2021 so it's now or never. Let's get that salsa going!
Now a few from the rest of the field...
Signiature Series Oliver Perez: Hear me out. His delivery is funky and he's had a few very solid years mixed in.
2021 TB Rays Topps Now Nelson Cruz: I just want this to be like the year that we got like 35 Bert Blyleven cards.
2013 Awards Chris Davis: He's been at the wrong end of a lot of jokes recently but the dude was once a monster.
Signiature Series Yoenis Céspedes: It seems he may have burned his bridges back to the MLB. It's hard to imagine he doesn't have a little something left in the tank to DH but if he hasn't caught on by now it's hard to imagine him coming back next year.
Signiature Series Matt Kemp: I'm not sure Kemp has ever got a card that really did his peak performance justice when you look at some of the other juiced cards out there. Let's make it happen.
