the simple answer is because it's easy to hit homers in Shippett, which is why everyone who thinks they are good play there because they just assume they'll outslug their opponent

    Franco Park >>> Shippett

    Shippett sucks

You enjoy consistently hitting fly outs to the track?

Not sure if you have seen it, what is your thoughts on Cbrev's video a couple weeks back about stadiums and why he stopped playing at Shippet?

I don't like it. There are bad home runs hit there but I'd rather deal with that than a lineout fest where bloop hits determine the game.

This type of game is why I don't like parks like Franco https://youtu.be/zSrkupTduAk

I don't think the game plays like that in most matches though. That's not me saying bloops and lineouts don't happen, they still happen too frequently. I think lineout fest is a bit overstating it though. But imo, it's less frustrating then playing in Shippett. ESPECIALLY on All-Star. All-star, in general, is bad, but all-star and Shippett is a toxic mix.

And I can show plenty examples of very early/okay, very late/okay balls that have gone out at Shippett

I would love to see a very late ok ball that went out at Shippett. All I'm saying is I'd rather have some bad home runs happen than the excessive ammount of lineouts that happen at other parks. In my experience the lineouts are much worse. I don't like hitting 10 warning track fly outs in a game

It's going to get to a point where people are going to back out of a gm cause they are not the home team!!

People do that anyway. Lame AF

Cause like most of us don't want to play in a bs stadium!! Everyone knows that frames drop and lag happens at MLB stadiums. MLB stadiums range from bad to very horrible.
It's like people would rather play a laggy gm then play somewhere that plays smooth. IMO

yea buddy what i am saying is that the lag is hardly noticeable so i have no clue how you are feeling it that hard - you don't have peasant internet right? there are tons of variables with lag too - if i am playing someone from Curacao or DR its going to 9/10 times be horrible gameplay no matter the stadium

Try again! I pay good money for my internet and I'm hardwired. Think what you want but it's even been said by SDS so I guess they don't know what they're talking about either!!

Why do people care so much what stadiums people play in, some people like to play in minor league stadiums, if they do who cares? You didn’t buy their game for them they can play there if they want, same goes for mlb stadiums, If someone wants to play in major league stadiums that’s their choice, doesn’t make you any better of a person or anything if you play in a major league stadium.

haha yes exactly it is mind numbing how much some ppl care about minor vs major league stadiums and this whole nonsense talk about lag vs less lag

I like playing in minor league stadiums because it brings back the old school feeling of baseball ⚾️ all that glamour is for the birds.

Most casual players don't understand that minor league fields are by far the best from a competitive standpoint

Please tell me what the pre-requisite is to be a "casual player" is? In DD i choose the Stadium i feel best supports my pitching staff whether it's MLB or Classic or Minor?

I am sorry but that is literally the dumbest thing i have ever heard.

I never once experienced any sort of lag from any stadium!

The fact that you claim only "Good" players don't play in MLB stadiums is just you and your opinion towards lesser players trying to sound cool, but in all actuality i really cannot say what it makes you sound like, but it isn't nice that's for sure.

Also has nothing to do with lag and everything to do with dropped frames and frame rate issues.

Yankee Stadium is by far the worst. The crowd, the subway train in the background. There's just too much going on and the CPU can't handle it without tremendous lag. Please, if you must play in the Bronx please use Classic Yankee Stadium. The dimensions are the exact same and the lag factor is greatly decreased.
