Are there penalties for intentionally causing a freeze-off or are we all going to pretend that's not a thing?

Gonna be a hoot reading complaints about freeze offs and wins...
I usually stay very far away from these, but I might watch some just to see a content creator type go full spaz during a freeze off.

I probably won't waste my time entering because I can't hit on legend, but I am a little curious about how my pitching skills measure up against top competition because I think I'm pretty good at that. I can say with near absolute certainty that I would be quickly eliminated, but a part of me wonders if I'd get blown out or if I'd be able to hang in there and do well enough for a low scoring loss.

There are two “tournaments”. Competitive and Exhibition. Competitive is on Legend, Exhibition is on Hall of Fame. Both have some lineup restrictions and everything else the same. I’m betting most CS+ players are going to play the exhibition tournament and skip Competitive. You’ll only see the streamers on Competitive tournament. Nobody wants to play on legend.

Oh there’s a HOF option? I might try that. Never playing legend that difficulty is for 3 people

How are CAPs going to be viewed for these tournaments? When setting lineups, they’re 65s, but we all know that CAPs are high 90s. -
