Can someone please give me some tips at this moment! Is it just me or is the hitting so broken that it's near impossible to make any headway on challenges. I'm consistently getting "good" contact with PATHETIC results. I have attempted the 8 hits in 3 games on Veteran at least 100 times and still haven't succeeded...I'm almost over this garbage already...

Try the dash boarding method. Basically try to make the third game as easy as possible by doing good the first two games. On the third game, if you’re on your last at bat and you know you’re not gonna complete the moment, instead of failing and starting all over, you would just press the ps button, close the application, and reload the game. It’ll have the moment still saved on the third game so you can give it another crack at it. Repeat the process until you finish the moment.

Took me awhile too. If you don't get 3 hits in the 1st game, restart. Just look for fastballs.

What Ivan said. I got four hits in the first two games so I dashboarded the third game until I got three hits.

it's definitely a grind, but just wait out the pitches. If you really want a good tip, then here's something that may be a bit much, but can pay off. I don't know if his card is on one of the legend rosters offline, but if he's not, create him with identical offensive stats (defense won't matter). then, put him on a roster, set up practice with shane bieber, mike clevinger, and carlos carrasco as the pitchers (on vet of course), and just work for a half hour or so until you feel comfortable enough to do it in DD. may be a bit much, but it's a good technique if you want more control over it as opposed to just getting lucky with the hitting challenges.

Telling someone to dashboard is basically encouraging them to cheat the system. I'm pretty sure there is a fail safe in place for people who continuously do that. It will likely lock the moments on you and disallow you from being able to even try those moments let alone complete them. It's happened to a streamer friend of mine who did that. So I recommend not dashboarding.

Update*
I realized that I just needed to go cold turkey on directional hitting and be a big boy and learn how to hit with Zone. After I got the hang of it my skills have vastly improved. Blew through the challenges no problem.

Don’t do them. That’s my advice. Until an evo card is worth having I’m not gonna do them. I’m not good with eck, cargo, or Eddie, and I don’t need pudge when Jorge posada will be in this game at some point

I used power swing and just waited on pitches in the zone it worked for me after about 3 tries
