If that’s what it is saying, I can live with that.
I just want some good news. My twitter feed is all virus. I play the show to escape and have fun, and I just get frustrated.

Whatever they won’t do shat. They will probably make it worse than it is now....

I don’t understand why everyone is complaining. The new patch forces you to zone up and wait for a mistake pitch. Mlb player hit mistake pitches left over the middle out of the yard not painted on th black. I like it so much better now. If they tweak it I hope only a little. Maybe be a little more forgiving allow a few more base hits but was just getting sick of all the homeruns. It’s a baseball sim.

Mlb players hit pitches painted on the black and even out of the strike zone all the time. The problem is they have artificially diminished contact and power. That's all.

What about that tweet is interesting?

There won't be significant changes.
The patch had little to do with gameplay - it was about players earning stubs rather than buying them. The increase in showdown difficulty and decrease in rewards is the most telling.
Another big part of exploiting people for MTX is making sure they're never content with their cards, which also rolls into overall gameplay. If folks are having a lot of fun with their current cards (ie. gameplay is great), even if they aren't the best, they won't spend as much money. It's not a coincidence that SDS "ruins" gameplay every year after the initial good reviews come in. They give folks a taste of the good life and then get them hooked on "maybe this 99 they just released will have me hitting like I was week 1...". It's all hyper-manipulative bull****.
What's most disgusting about this is that it appears they rushed it out early in order to take advantage of people in a trying time. Very disappointing.

The worst part about that stupid logic they use, is if I was enjoying this game and more successful, I'd be much more willing to drop money throughout the year on stubs to keep getting the best cards to play well with.
I'm not spending another dollar in this landscape of the game. I'd drop $200 bucks tomorrow if they fix this BS right now. -

They got me hook, line, and sinker man. When I got into this a few years ago, let's just say this is not how I expected it to go.

they work from a computer. Being self quarantined doesnt affect there ability to get onto their specialized dev kits to fix/change things

I buy games to play against other people and not just mindlessly grind against the CPU. There is no reason both of us can’t be happy and get what we want.

That's fine. Us offline players like to play baseball. I think most offline players dont even consider the online aspect to represent baseball at all (at least not DD).
What you need to realize is that it's not going to change. This is how they make their $$ now. They use the same formula every year and you guys complain about it every year, but yet you keep coming back ....... throwing $$ at them left and right.
It wont change.
