Hmm, so having a 9 year old being able to play a baseball video game without being exposed to vulgarity and/or profanity should not be discussed on said game’s forum, but “durr, kids are soft, trans are a threat” should?

I remember when I first logged online in a video game. 20 some odd years ago. Some 8-10 year old started cursing at me, saying horrible things about my mom and saying stuff to make a sailor blush. I’ve spent all this time blaming his parents and I should have assumed he saw a naughty logo on a game. I’m sure kids have gotten much more innocent as the age of the internet progressed and the moral compass of the country has become almost non existent.
Oh okay, the OP/concerned dad should just give up and say oh well? I mean, sure watch what he does on the web and don’t give him a phone at 9; there’s a limit to what you can do, but you should try as much as you can.
My son is 10 and autistic; he’s only allowed to play offline games like Ratchet & Clank, Ghostbusters, racing games. I won’t play CoD when he’s around (but my father in law introduced him to Far Cry, grrrrr… good thing is he’s more fascinated by the hunting aspect, but still PO’ed about it).
If I have to explain something he saw or heard at school or wherever, fine that’s part of growing up but I’m not going to let him access all he wants unsupervised. He likes to watch me play from time to time, it would be nice not having to explain a lava shooting rocket logo lol! There’s a difference between that and a topless calendar at my mechanic’s shop IMO.

do not shelter your kids from the ugliness of the world. be honest with them and let them know that any vulgar images or logos they see are the product of bad parenting and no class or self-respect. move along but there is no need to police this because i for one love being able to to make my own jerseys and there is always going to be bad apples stop sheltering your kids from the realities of life. if you can't explain it to your kids maybe you shouldn't be a parent.

No one cares about your sexu@l preference we just don’t want it shoved down our throat every waking moment. Homelessness is growing epidemic in every major city and the trans kids movement is absolute child abuse, don’t excuse that garbage.

Noone is shoving anything down your throat, things are evolving. Back in the day you would turn on the TV and you'd see a majority of white people. Then when people of color started getting more roles it was the "black" agenda and now that trans/[censored] people are getting more roles and spotlight its the "Trans agenda". There is no "agenda", people are just getting their due now and are able to express themselves. If that scares you then you need to think about what's soft and who really needs a safe space -

Do some research, it's clear you know nothing about transitioning or how young people start showing signs of these things. Do some research and actually learn some things and if you still feel the way you do then I'm sorry but you fail as a decent person. -
Anyone who uses logos like these online is displaying such a lack of maturity, common sense and decency that it is really hard to defend them, yet it seems like there are people here willing to give them a pass. If you would not put that logo on a t-shirt and wear it to the store or restaurant then why would it be okay in a game where you could literally be matched up with anyone.
Whether you take offense at it or not there is very little doubt that it is inappropriate within the context of the game.
