Is it just me or does the cpu auto advance the runners without user input sometimes? It seems to happen to me rounding 2nd. If I know it's a double I will stop pressing the button around the 2nd basemen but that mofo will continue on to 3rd for some reason. lol It happens to me going to 3rd aswell, I'll stop pressing at the SS and he'll try and go home and get thrown out by a mile. Very frustrating.

I don’t have issues with runners advancing further than I set them. The bigger issue is runners NOT running when I tell them to, or retreating to bases automatically.

For example, runner on second, lay down a bunt with pitcher for sacrifice, but the runner on second decides to dive back to the base instead of advancing, meanwhile I’m smashing L1 or selecting him and smashing square, only for him to be thrown out on a double play because he took his sweet old time getting up from the dive, brushing himself off and then deciding he should go to third.

I'm beginning to think it has something to do with my controller. It happened again rounding 3rd for me. I let off the button at the SS and this guy goes for the inside the park homerun in a close game and screws me. lol

I was just about to post something about this. It’s happened 2 times now at the end of a game the cpu Will before. With 2 out they hit a blooper and then I field and it and even tho I’m beside 2nd base they keep running and go straight to 2nd base

I have a huge problem with CPU runners either staying back to tag on balls that are obviously base hits, causing them to get thrown out at second or third on clean hits into the outfield. In other times they take off running with less than 2 outs on fly balls that are routine, and they won't even respond to "retreat all" until the ball's caught. This happens so often in Showdown for me that it basically makes the bosses unbeatable because half of my hits end up as outs on the bases that I can't stop.

Just played a conquest game and it happened again. 2 outs runner on 3rd Miguel Cabrera comes up to bat hit a grounder to third took a bad hop went over the third baseman my left field fielded the ball and by that time Miguel (0speed overall) barely makes it to first base then rounds to go to 2nd base even tho the cutoff man already had the ball.
