I'm tired of dealing with this. You have toxic people (ironically sporting WS and 12-0 banners) that need to validate their pathetic existence by either quick pitching or deliberately lag the connection to the game because they have a 'Win at All Cost' mentality.
You have computerized players that mysteriously make Hall of Fame plays in the field and Common pitchers that can paint the corners like Michaelangelo.
You have people that exploit certain aspects of the game to gain an unfair advantage like mind numbingly playing the CPU for DAYS without stopping so they can get max XP, from a program that's supposed to last weeks, in 24 hrs.
You have freeze offs happening, for FIVE straight years, where people would rather sit there and leave their systems on for DAYS instead of moving on. (Again, a 'Win at All Costs' mentality.)
I'm done dealing with it right now. It's not fun anymore.
I may be back later, after I take some time away from the game, but I doubt it as I've already sold the PS5.

But you sound like your winning mentality is no different from the people you're chastising?
If you dont care that much, just lost 5-10 straight games in ranked and played in the 3-500s for a while.

Former world series player in 2017 to being stuck below 700's the next 4 years lol. Nothing worse than being stuck below Hall of fame difficulty.

There's quick pitching and wtf quick pitching and I gave them what they want I paused and I quit... it's ridiculous I played baseball for like 17years of my life and even in video game I will play this game with respect ... It's just crazy how people can be [censored] hole for a win. they already have great cards to play with and they hit 211. ( OPS !!!!! ) with Kenny Lofton .... Proudly wear a pornhub Jersey #69 with CAP and showing everybody that they are the shnit cause you know the more you [censored] off the more you ..... [censored] off I guess .... No freak control required here sticky thumb is ready ! Now I feel better !

So glad I have nothing to prove playing legends in their own mind humans in RS.
I can still enjoy the offline content, although the CPU has at win at all costs mentality sometimes. -

Exactly what I do and it keeps this game fresh..
I'll have a couple to switch to.. Got Mass Effect LE going right now. Loved it the first time around.
I play warzone with a few of my buddies here and there. Outriders has been fun too, co-op..
MLB will always be my solo game and when I need my baseball fix (usually daily or when content drops).
Having a 6 month old son keeps the gaming hours down and everything fresh though lol -

Options are an amazing thing. I myself am using the season in Destiny 2 as an outlet or Diablo 3 season for senseless demon slaughter. Once FFVIIR releases on PS5 (june 10, cant come soon enough) That will be my go to for a break from the Show. This entire list is pure gold.

Do it, you won't be disappointed. Good Story, amazing scenery, and the sword play is top notch. The stealth aspects are probably the weakest bit imo (feels like very early Assassins creed style) but its definitely a great game worth your time.

Mother of God it really amazes me how soft some of you are.
It's a video game.
The beauty about online play is you have all different types of players. If you can't handle some of the a**holes....clearly online gaming is something you should give up.

Currently playing through RDR2 (again - best story driven game ever), State of Decay 2 (not really a story game, but is open world and has MP), No Man's Sky, and Elite Dangerous.

How is it? Never played beyond 1 and that was ages ago. I could use another game to take the occasional break.
Just started 1, lots of good improvements, I love 2 so excited to get back tonit and never played 3 so the package was worth it. I do 1 or 2 missions a night so it will get it's worth out of it

That is literally just online gaming in a nutshell. My advice would be to find some good solo games to play or just do something completely different from playing video games. Maybe join an old mans league or something
