So update, I had a new internet installed in my home. The ISP tech came and said. I had too much ingress in my outlets, I said okay let's fix it. Put a new line in, the first day no problems. And then about 48 hours after install it was back to its usual, cannot stay connected for more than 5 minutes. I literally have no clue in what to do. I'm a level 15 prestige with 250 games played, I have dedicated so much time to this game and now it's unplayable.
Everything you just described happened to me. Tech came.....whole new line. Was good for a day then back to disconnects. I went and bought The Netgear Nighthawk router. Zero problems since. Been two days so far.
Yeah man, sorry I forgot to update on here. Same thing, got a Netgear Nighthawk router and haven't had any problems.

I’ve been trying to get help for months emailing support and they keep saying it’s my ISP. Funny thing is my wife is on and Internet is fine. Also nothing is wrong when I’m streaming videos or playing other games online and she’s on her computer. They keep pushing me off not wanting to fix it.

It's your router man, I had the same problem. I have spectrum and have played for years, then all of a sudden I wasn't able to stay logged onto the servers for more than 5 minutes. This went on for weeks, I got a new internet line installed, I got a new modem, and still nothing. So I went out and bought a 50 dollar Netgear Nighthawk router and all of my problems were solved immediately

I got the expensive one. I highly recommend it! It helps with more than just gaming. It also improves streaming quality! I don’t have cable as I stream everything on the smart tv. Totally worth it!!

FWIW, Google Mesh works fine too. As do standard Cisco and Linksys routers.

thanks - what specs do you look for to know if a certain router will work? or will any aftermarket router work to solve this problem?

I can't say which ones will definitely work persay. I know that this thread though has people which have had the issue, using some type of older router.

I’ve been getting disconnected from the show online when I play online. It’s not my WiFi because I play other games and they run perfectly. Someone please help!
