How do you guys deal with how long each season is?
-
I play every game for my favorite team. Sometimes, as I have in the past, play games for other teams. I usually play games for teams I want to win. Oddly enough, I always win. Does it get boring? Not for me.
-
Every pitch of every game including spring training. If the game is good, meaning the issues/glitches are limited, I'll only get through maybe 3 or 4 seasons. The most amount of seasons I've ever completed was 6. This was a year that EA's NHL was unplayable for me, so I stayed with baseball instead of switching to hockey.
These are the only 2 video games I'll play, though. If they have issues in a particular year I might play something like GTA while I wait for the other to be released. I'm more interested in an evolving story line than I am completing as much as possible. I also like to keep it as real and competitive as possible. I've never won a World Series or a Stanley Cup in about 10 years worth of playing.

Have you tried March to October. Not really a true season simulator, but might scratch the itch and take a fraction of the time.
-
I quick manage pretty much every game I don't actively play

For me it's baseball and basketball. I might get fifa every few years as well.

I wish there was an option to play shorter seasons. I haven't played a baseball game in years, but the last one I played had an option to play with shorter seasons for franchise mode.
-
I really can't understand why they don't give the option to play shorten season such as RBI Baseball do.
That will be easier for them rather to try and promote March to October.
Same for NHL games by the way. -
I sim a bunch but I try to play at least one game of every series. Then I play every playoff game.
-
I play every 4th game then I’m using all the starters. The games in between I randomly pick a player locked in.

Yeah, I got into FIFA a few years ago when NHL really stunk. I actually liked it a lot. Maybe it's because I don't know soccer that well and I'm not that critical of it. Then again, it's an EA game, so ya know, EA does what EA does.

This game is fun especially franchise mode.. I’ll play a couple back to back in a series then simulate to next team in the series and repeat the process. I already broke one mlb record already.. So this game is fun for me because I love baseball
-
I sometimes simulate through half the game if I feel it’s taking too long or if I’m not getting any hits
-
quick counts, fast play.
-
My son and I pick one player each game that we play can utilize. It's not a player lock due to the created stadium bug that hinders franchise. We just manage the in between parts a little. A typical game will last 5-7 minutes. If you choose to pitch it may take 15-20. We can get through a season in 2 months or so.
-
Are you able to use quick Counts in franchise?

Yes
-
Just finished my first season played every game spring training through game six of the World Series unless there are big changes to next years game I’ll probably play out this franchise for awhile
-
Just a few random games, if any. I suck at this game and I play RTTS or DD for that. I love fantasy drafting and managing my team.
