Would you take a refund?

If you wanna splurge on a tv I suggest getting an oled. I have a LG and a vizio and can’t really tell the difference between the 2. Picture quality on the oleds are beautiful, anything filmed in Dolby vision looks stunning. The vizio 55 $1,100 the lg 55 is around $1400

Ask again Wednesday after the PoTM program is live. They got it right last year with the Topps Now packs in the program so it cost very little to nothing at all to finish the program. If it reverts back to the old ways and is just another stub dump then I'd gladly take a refund and never think about MLBTS again.

Was going to take a break this year. Instead got lured in by Stadium Creator etc... Bought a PS5 and a very expensive 75 TV that plays like a monitor just for this game only to be dissatisfied and disappointed with all this BS. A refund would be meaningless at this point.
Hi there ! I would like to know which tv you bought? I am currently shopping for a brand new one to fit the ps5 and one more tip would be appreciated !
Samsung Model: QN75Q80TAFXZA
4K 2160P 120HTZ with very low latency and imput lag. It's literally a giant monitor and the game looks amazing! The players look like little people inside the TV. Expensive as heck but worth every penny."Holly cow I can't believe it" lol I will definitely look for this baby !!! seems A1 !!! Thanks a lot friend !

I honestly wonder why people are complaining so much, apart from the server issues. Those issues will be fixed eventually, give them some time to make it right. Other than that, this game plays so much better than 20, better than 19 and those of us who played 18 know that this game is a godsend compared to that game.
Does it? I’d probably trust your opinion more than anyone on here. Almost grabbed an Xbox today (would purely be to play MLB really) but didn’t trust the game not to be a slugfest with 18-15 scores like last year. Worth £250 just to play ‘21?
Its still a slugfest I guess lol. But the game has vastly improved in many areas. You're not playing at all at the moment?
Edit: pitching actually exists now, so I guess not AS much of a slugfest. You can actually dominate pitching if you're doing it right.
Nah I sold my PS4 last year, I only ever played the Show and I came to realise I hated ‘20 almost as much as ‘18, just for different reasons of course. I had intended to take a short break and then grab a PS5 ahead of this years game, but with the delayed release, console shortages and long silence from SDS before any pre launch announcements, I just lost any hype I had for ‘21 and got used to not gaming. I was thinking that the launch would go well, gameplay would be overhauled at least somewhat and the shiny new legends would be enough to draw me back in, but that was never a realistic expectation given SDS track record, was it?
From the few streams I’ve watched and reading the general tone of the posts online, even setting the constant server issues aside, as they likely won’t affect me by the time I do make my mind up to buy - or at all, if I choose not bother returning! - I get the impression not much has changed from reading between the lines. There’s also the chance everyone will say “go for it, this year plays great!” Only for SDS to change everything with a patch, I suppose.

The risk of patching is always there, but I'm definitely happy with the product for the first time since 17, server issues aside. Lots of things have changed for the better in my opinion. I'm enjoying the game which I haven't in a long while lol as you are very well aware of.

Yeah, that sounds like a huge difference. Guess I’ll wait for a few more patches, then maybe the game will be working pretty good or totally broken again.

No. Have of these dudes just want their 100 bucks back so they can just buy the game back at $30 IMO
[censored] dude, if you're going to talk [censored], at least know how to spell. SMMFH.

It took you 28 days to come up with that "comeback"? Yikes dude, hire a ghost writer,.

No.
I'd miss having something to get mad at. Then miss the satisfaction of taking my frustration out by hitting a 460 ft bomb. SDS giveth. SDS taketh away. They arent perfect. But there are much worse games. -
No. It’s a fun game with flaws like any other game. The best content is yet to come and it’s all free unlike Madden or 2K. Anyone who’s played The Show before knows what to expect when they buy the game every year
-
No. Because there isn't a competing product out there. Except MLB 9 innings on the phone.
-
No, if someone doesn’t like it.. don’t play it or try to sell it ️

Yes......_
